You were a part of my upbringing Diana. Anyone who grew up or lived in New York City these last 25 plus years and watched local news knows your name. Congratulations on your retirement and thank you for your work in bringing the news to me for so many years.

Wow! I remembered watching her since I was 10 years old. I'm now 40 years old. One of the best in the news business! She is WONDER WOMAN. Congratulations.

I love her so much and she's gonna be missed here. I remember watching her with Mr. Bill Beutel when I was young and I was only 10 years old, lol. She's totally amazing, professional, beautiful, smart, intelligent and I love watching her every night with all of her co workers. I feel that I'm losing a family member and I love her smile which made my day everyday. Thank you Diana for so many great years here on WABC. I love you! God bless you on your retirement and from the Coley family, We Love you!

I have watch her her whole career on Eye Witness News very classy person much respect for her one of the greatest news anchors of all times love her and i wish her the very best in her retirement, she brought great news reports over the years, i been watching Eye Witness news since 1973 i seen the greats go and she is one of them God bless her.

*As a former New Yorker, I've been watching ABC 7 Eyewitness News when I was 5 years old. From 9/11 in 2001 to The Northeast blackout in 2003 I was 7 years old.* *I've have seen one anchor and reporter retire one by one and I'd never imagine it would be Diana Williams. These days I've been watching alot of Eyewitness News opens from over the years and now Diana has her last one. Happy retirement Diana Williams.😭*

Diana Williams,,,,,,from this moment on,,,,take time to smell the roses,sleep late,walk around the Manhattan and other boro streets that you once was a reporter on,,,go on family trip, come back home, then go again with just you and hubby! Happiness is ,,,,,faith ,family, friends,good food, having a roof over your head, looking out the window this January, February at the snow n cold,,and knowing that you don't have to go to work, while sade, Lee, bill, and others have to keep soldiering on until their retirement day come!!! Dee - She’s done 40 altogether with her earlier jobs in broadcasting (inc. 29 at WABC / ABC7), and true it probably would’ve made a more even matter to stay for another year (30 / 2020), but as what she said back when she announced it on May, spending time with her family (including her husband +son who had tragic incidents) became a much more pertinent issue. Best of luck to her though!

Bill buetel sat in that seat for how many years and then Diana for 29? Now thats continuity.

How come when Roger Grimsby or Bill Butel retired, whey didn't get not even half as much attention as she got. Today seems like it's a life of parties. Roger and Bill were the best and they didn't need all the bells and whistles.

Some women fight for equality in the office or workplace, no longer have to dress to please the men, being that pretty little lady that must be put up with, laws are passed, so what do some women do? continue to be that pretty little lady hair dyed and greasy lipped that has to be put up with in the office…Seemingly loving the role as an office trophy…especially when appearing on television…
