I am sure that mom and dad have boundaries and will assist their daughter during this process. If birth mother does not respect the boundaries, they as Tyanna's parents they can, should and will stop all visits.

Your daughter is very healthy. She's energetic, fearless, is a vegan, she's athletic, and her skin is just beautiful. She looks healthier than most kids her age.

I am a woman of Afro-Caribbean descent and I am truly thrilled that you let her play with dolls that look like her. I also love that you commented that the little girl on the tea set box looked like her and had hair like hers. This is HUGE for her self esteem!! I am 62 yrs old and only had white dolls when I was growing up because there were none that looked like me. However, I think that it’s important for her to have dolls of ALL colors because this is the reality of our world🚶🏾‍♀️🧍‍♀️🏃🏾🏃🏻‍♂️ Thank you for all you are doing for her. That moment was so cute, as a child my mom (being white) always made sure to buy me different types of dolls so I could identify with them. Funnily enough, my mom got me this baby doll one time and then a few weeks later my white grandma got me the same one with a darker skin (she thinks representation is really important) but I didn’t want it because that doll had a different color dress that I didn’t like. At that point, my family knew that I wasn’t even looking at color anymore. Growing up, they made sure that I was always represented and just the small efforts they made mean a lot to me now. As a kid, I didn’t realize why or how important it was. Now I know, thanks to them I never saw myself as different from anyone else. My Congolese relatives don’t live as close to us, so my mom always worked hard as a white person to get me on the first train to my African family during each holiday and learn the culture for my sake. Eternally grateful, these guys are doing the same.
