This video captures the locomotive energy of both Keith “Doc” Hampton and his joyous anthem “Celebrate!”, performed by the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale during its “Celebrate! A Tapestry of American Music” concert on 11 May 2019 at College Church, Wheaton, IL. The Chorale’s conductor, Greg Wheatley, introduces the work and welcomes Doc, who then takes the stage and guest-conducts the train out of the gate and down the track in a musical celebration to the Lord that will have you tapping both of your feet and wishing for more. Featured are an Idol-level performance from soloist Jessica Wheaton, and a stylistically definitive and driving accompaniment by J.M. (Mac) Willaert on keys and Noel Streacker on drums. Whether you are happy, want to be happy, or know someone who could use a happy boost, this is one to share!
