I was at that point when they kept McCarthy and they have only made me want to root for a different team even more. At this point I'm just a fan of certain players and not even rooting for any team in particular

I wanted the Cowboys to trade Dak (yes, I know Dak has to sign off on it), Lamb, and Parsons. They can’t afford to pay all of them, as they’d have to spend 45%. - 50% of their cap space to do so. If they did, they would have to gut every other position group. It’s obvious they are headed for a rebuild. They could have at least got a pile of picks for them.

.@@GeraldThompson-he9op Good. I personally have been a Cowboys fan since the early 70's and as far as I am concerned the players demands are too much. Trade CD and Parsons. Get a haul of draft picks. Let DAK go and draft a real QB and start over. We did that in the late 80's and won 3 SB's

Cee Dee looked like a rookie in the 1st and only playoff game last year. He needs to shut his pie hole and show up for practice. No more money for the "Deer in the headlights" guy who couldnt do anything to help win a game. Huge win streak coming in that game at home and he literally sucked. I'm all for guys getting their money but this idea of not reporting for work WHEN YOU'RE UNDER CONTRACT is getting ridiculous!!! I never hear guys who under perform wanting to stop getting paid. But people who refuse to fulfill their current contract obligation, expect to not only continue to get paid but also a salary increase! This is nuts! Ceedee has NO LEVERAGE. Dallas can/ should make him play this last year out then franchise him. These guys want more money but haven't WON ANYTHING!!!

I like ceede but if a team offers a huge trade package Dallas should listen. Like a court land Sutton and 2 first round picks type deal

“F” me! I’ve noticed that since Stephen took over Player/Personnel - Contracts, we’ve really screwed up paying our players what they’ve earned. When Jerry was doing contracts, we were usually early resigning players. And Jerry used to pay them Top $ but Stephanie wants to “win” the Offseason. But he’s just sitting and watching players get resigned while ours HOLDOUT; they obviously don’t remember Emmitt holding out in 1993, I believe.

I would agree with you if they hadn't caved to Zack Martin's demands last year. Signing someone early at a price that is good for the time is only valuable if the team forces those players to abide by those contracts. If the player signs the good, early deal knowing that he can just hold out when the market rises and the team will appease him with a bigger contract, then signing someone early offers no benefit. I agree that signing him at that price makes perfect sense. The problem is that if the Cowboys have a good year and he wants more later, will they make him abide by the contract or will they just give him more money then?

This is a good time to figure out who wants to be a player for the Cowboys.

I agree 100% to pay CD, but I feel like players are disrespecting their teams and fans by doing a holdout while still under a current contract, people in every day life don’t leave work and stay home because you should be getting paid more, you get fired for that. Hope we keep our all stars just don’t like the superstar hold out mentality doesn’t do anybody favors especially if you know what you’re worth and can get a contract from another team the following year, keep on the grind and set an example for rookies and up and coming players hard work=success.

I think the thing Dallas aka Jones's are looking at is Lamb playoff games & his attitude when it's not going right for him. The evaluation is on everything not just regular season & that's what's holding Dallas back same is applying for Dak. But far as I know Dallas has never been all that good on dealing new contracts just as you said look at who all they have let go. All because they feel they can draft.
