I swear this song brings me to tears everytime I listen to it. It just makes me think about life, I never had the best childhood or the most money but I always had a mother, step father and my dog who all love me. Right now I'm 21 and I'm trying to get my life back on track after a couple years of mental illness and I'm trying to find God again. This song helps me so much. God bless Cee Lo

I was a child when my father first played this song for me and I have never seen him cry before that moment. As a man now I hear this song and sob like a child, cee lo has put in 4 minutes what most men go through in a lifetime all the rights they want to do and the wrongs they have done and how we still look towards a brighter tomorrow is amazing I sincerely commend any and every man who sheds tears to this song because that in it self means you understand the message in it. Ceelo green is a VERY underrated song artist. He didn’t have to put cuss words or propaganda in his music for people to love it. He’s somebody that young men that wanna be in the entertainment industry can look up to. I hope that I can meet him one day.

Gettin grown. I literally got grown to this song. At 21 I thought this was weird (must admit I based it solely on the video, didnt have enough sense to listen to the words). At 25 I simply thought it was a great song. Now at 37 its more than a song. I cant imagine getting through tough times with out it. That goes for the rest of this album as well.
