Cedars of Lebanon

Фильм және анимация

Cedar is the symbol of Lebanon. It plays an important role for its historical position and cultural implication. Nowadays, more and more people and organizations devote themselves to the conservation of this precious species so that people will not only recognize cedar as the national emblem of Lebanon, but also see it in the forest.

I grew up in New Zealand hearing about the cedar trees of Lebanon. This was because my father went to a ski school in Lebanon in about 1940. My father was a very good baritone singer and at the end of a long day of training, he was asked to sing to the trainees. He sang a song called “Trees”. He said that he wanted to sing this song because of the beautiful cedar trees that were all around them. Dad was very spiritual, and he deeply felt the atmosphere of this place. In my life, I thought about the cedar trees a lot and about my Dad skiing in that area. When Dad came back to New Zealand 🇳🇿 in 1945, he met my mother and later on I was born.

I just got back from visiting Lebanon. I was dying to see the Cedar forest, but sadly didn't have time on this trip, plus it was really cold up there, even in summer. They're in the North and very high elevation. Next time. I did see a lot of Phoenician ruins - they were beautiful.

Cedars of Lebanon *cedrus libani) are the most handsome trees on the Earth! They lend such a great prettiness to the overall landscape of Lebanon ! They are so wonderful trees worthy to be worshipped for their amazing lofty looks! I bought 3 small lebanese cedars and sowed them in my own garden in Bulgaria and they took roots ! I am so happy !

These Cedars are still in Egypt when they built the Pyramids they used them for exterior and interior support beams for entry ways. King Solomon contracted the King of Lebanon ( HIRAM ABIF) to supply Cedar of Lebanon to build the Temple . The Cedars were also used by the Romans to build Catapults........ these Cedars last hundreds of thousands of years because of the special Sap that’s in these species of Cedar found nowhere else on earth I’m so glad these faithful Christians stepped up and preserved these Holy trees talked about in the Quran, Bible, Torah etc.......❤️🌈🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲

Those who are planted in the house of the LORD, will grow like the cedars of the Lebanon . And flourish like the palm tree .(Read Psalms 92) ….Come on all believers be planted in the church, not spectators , not like the seeds fallen in thorns and on the side road or on the rocks . Be like the seed that is planted in the fertile soil . Don’t be like warm and just go to church like going to a movie theater or carrying on tradition of forefathers but go with your temples( body) that is filled with Holy Spirit .
