Wish I had that digger ... nice wood overall ... I just cut firewood, I almost always carry 3 saws and extra chains ... Something breaks ..you hit steel ..you got backup .. Awesome you got Jed's saw, miss that man as we all do. Great work ... your barker boxes are going well on my MS's 460,660,880 and the disc's you made for me for the simington are going well ... bit of a juggle between the 3/8 and the .404.. but getting there.

Well, fellas, I came on KZread and I watched five of the seven shows that I watch on a regular basis that I’m a member of and just when I got ready to get off KZread, Gordy pops up like a piece of toast!!!! And I thought to myself, what a beautiful way to end the day here in Northwest Montana, the YAAK VALLEY. 5 miles from the Canadian Border. Where Doug Fir Trees grow 200 feet like it ain’t nothing. And they are so thick that it blocks out the sun feels so cool, walking through the dark areas. I know for a fact that Gordy would like to cut timber all day long that stands 3 to 5 feet in diameter at the base. So come on Gordy, take your pick!!!!!!!!!

Most ported saws you can’t run a decomp because of the raised compression snaps the decomp shut the first time the piston comes up to tdc. And they leak.

Had a contractor working for me that did a two-man job by himself and knocked out power lines for the peeps up the hill. He started a 7 and by 8 came up here whiter than a sheet to tell me what happened, I told him he could have gotten himself killed. He doesn't work for me any more, if you want to do things unsafe, keep on truckin. My axiom is, "I want you to leave at the end of the day with all the fingers and toes you started with". Lifes too short and ain't nothin more important than going home to mama.

Remember me? I got 2 questions. 1.) My new job says corks are a no-go, and I need a steel toe. My corks are Wesco BUT they rebuilt them wrong twice. I've heard good things about Nicks, and that Viberg doesn't make real boots anymore. Do you have any recommendations? 2.) How bad is the poison ivy there?
@Jankapotamus1
Жыл бұрын
Franks is the way to go for boots. The old general manager of nicks started his own outfit, and they are every bit as good as nicks were. They’ve got the most reasonable turnaround time of all the big boot makers and excellent customer service. Whites are still a solid choice too, but I’m unsure of their turnaround time these days.
