The one in EDSA is not a real BRT.

The right way to do BRT is to do it on elevated railways. Putting it in the middle of an already narrow road is a recipe for disaster. Cebuanos will suffer an even far worse traffic. Billions of pesos just to make people suffer is not good spending. This is a classic example what pride and stubbornness can do. You know what they say: "Pride always comes before the ______."

LRT or MONORAIL is best for Cebu due to its limited spaces. Both systems use elevated tracks which will save Cebu from widening its current roads.

The BRT system in Cebu City is not viable due to the city's narrow roads, instead that the project should be reimagined as a light rail or heavy rail system that could be built above and/or below the roads using elevated railways, railway bridges, and/or subways, providing more road space for other vehicles and pedestrians.

@@KalamiCebu Politicians will benefit. People will suffer. If the interest of people were truly the motivation, then MRT would've far-reaching benefits into the future. Isn't that what Cebu aspires to be: the next Singapore?

Dalan sa atong dakbayan chopsuey, mga motorists kulang pakong sa ulo. it just shows how under discipline ang mga tao sa Cebu. Sad to say but mao nay tinood. More seminars. 3rd lane pwedi ang motor hanip. only in the Philippines.
