CDR happy hour - Climeworks at Climate Week NYC 2023

This casual gathering brought together business leaders, political change-makers, as well as local and civil society representatives. It was kicked off by a welcome speech from Climeworks’ co-CEO and co-founder Christoph Gebald, who invited highlight speakers to share remarks with the audience.
This gathering, in addition to providing a networking platform, will aim at bringing together the insights and actions collected during the first part of Climate Week NYC.

Great point from Bilha, what happens when the global south starts demanding the same energy intense lifestyle? We are not far away from that point. Great to see companies and governments moving closer to and investing in Carbon Capture.
Sounds a lot like something that will work. I expect it to be fought vehemently by the political climate change community if it does work
