NJ is one of the hardest states to pass your CDL road test. The reason most people fail their CDL Road Test is because they do not get the right CDL training and that makes them fail the Pre-trip inspection. The Road Test is split into 3 different sections the first part of the CDL road test is to pass the inspection you are going to be asked to do both an air brake test as well as a pre-trip inspection. The second part of the CDL road test is a skills test. The student will have to master six different parking maneuvers. The last part of the CDL road test is the road driving. This test will take two and a half hours to complete however it all starts with this pre-trip inspection.
Most people fail in the first 10 mins of the test because they did not get the proper training on the pre-trip inspection. That is why we have created this video to show you how our students at Driving Academy get the proper CDL training they need in order to pass the NJ CDL Road Test. We offer this video and much much more to our students when we train them for their Class B Pre-trip Inspection. He did it exacle how the trooper expect it done. Im not sure if it depends on your state but this is spot on. Except psi is 105
I noticed that some of the components are missing: water pump, alternator, air compressor, power steering pump, slack adjuster and push rods, u bolts, brake chamber, axle seal (back), bud spacer, hub seal (front) Should we talk about these when we do the Pre-trip inspection for the actual CDL Exam?

Good. I've memorized all of this. More importantly it is starting to make sense. Now I'm working on maneuvers. Front stop = 0 looks 0 pull-ups. Forward offset = 0 looks 0 pull-ups. Straight line back = 1 pull-up 1 look. Reverse offset back = 2 looks 2 pullups.

If you consider the parking brake as the G-Spot the rest will fall into place.

Can this apply for Class B straight Trucks or just School Buses, if not do you have videos for Class B straight Trucks for NJ?

I'm in NY but I've never seen a CDL school give class B lessons in a box truck. Every school around here gives class B lessons in a bus. The only time I see driving schools utilizing actual trucks are tractor trailers for Class A lessons.
Are you able to drive artic buses with a cdl B or do you have to get a cdl A license

For the most part. There are much better videos on youtube for pre trips though.

Get it with Air Brake, you are wasting your time if you are not doing it without the air brake just because is easy.
