doesn't need to be. the incredible library management updates allow good DJs to create more tailored and relevant sets on the fly, more than any gimmicky features ever could

Ok! this was Never my kind of music....but I am slowly gravitating towards it.

If you close your eyes, it doesn't make a difference what he's playing on. So all this comparison and complaining is a waste of time. The players do look sexy though.

Think about it like a music instrument. A great musician can sound good using any kind of electric guitar, but they still prefer to play on a really good guitar over a cheap one because the ease of playing allows them to be more expressive. Faster load times, key shifting, and beat jump might not be as "obvious" to the audience. But the smoother execution of what you're trying to do leaves your mind free to be creative. It's one of those things where you have to try it at least. Product photos, spec lists, and video demonstrations can only show so much. The experience is something you have to try for yourself.

They give me a traktor feel.. i sometimes mix like this on traktor (mix in or out a loop with effects). these are definitely performance players. at first glance, they looked kind of ugly and stuffed / crammed. guess they grow on you. guess it depends how you play. just fancy players layout change. cant complain and still on the fence.. may return my XDJ-1000's. guess its just what you are comfortable with gear wise. but these fit to how i play.

I'm telling you to do it better, the volume of the tracks were very different, maybe you have some tracks in less than 320kbps, you were also generating Phase problems with the bass mix, the track selection very good!!!

You can do all this on 2000’s pioneer really are on board shoving out a device that has a few more hot cues and a touchscreen.. Think I’ll stick to what I have.. this is really dumb of Pioneer and Denon now have the jump on them!!

I'm less than happy with the way the CDJ 3000 turned out, but to their credit some things definitely did change. The jog wheel doesn't have that rattling noise that 2000s did before they were "broken in." The screen is a hundred times better than the shitty 2000 one.
