CDI INAUGURATES DOMESTIC WORKERS WEEK AT KOHIMA.

Nagaland State Commission for Women Member, Kekhrienuo Meyase stressed that centering decent work for domestic workers in the care economy in India involves addressing the critical need for fair labor practices, social protection, and recognition of their contributions. Addressing at the inauguration of Domestic worker's week today at LCS building organised by Centre for Development Initiatives (CDI) and sponsored by Azim Premji Foundation. Meyase pointed out that the domestic workers who form a substantial part of the care economy, often face poor working conditions, low wages, and a lack of social security.
