আরিফা কোনো যুক্তিযুুক্ত কথাই বলতে পারলেন না। কেবলমাত্র অতিসরলীকৃত কিছু কথা আর কিছু পাতি উদাহরণ - যা চন্দ্রিলদার কথার সামনে, যুক্তির সামনে এবং চর্চার সামনে মুহুর্তও দাঁড়াতে পারবে না।

ভারতবর্ষের সমস্ত আঞ্চলিক ভাষার ক্ষেত্রেই এই কথা প্রযোজ্য। বাংলা ভাষার প্রকৃত সম্মান বাংলাদেশেই আছে। সেখানে হিন্দী বা ইংরেজী ভাষার ছাপ বা ছাপ নেই। সমস্ত আঞ্চলিক ভাষার ই পিঠ ঠেকে গেছে।

আমার মেয়ে জাতিসংঘে চাকরির করে।মেয়ে ইংরেজিতে মাষ্টারস্। কিন্তু অফিসে, কোনো বাংলা চিঠি আসলে, বসের( আমেরিকান) নিকট,ডাক পড়ে আমার মেয়ের,বাংলা চিঠিটি ইংরেজিতে তরজমা করার জন্য।

যারা বিপক্ষে বক্তব্য রেখেছেন তাঁরা কেউ বাংলা ভাষার বিরোধী নয়। তাঁরা কেবলমাত্র বর্তমান বাস্তব চিত্রটি তুলে ধরেছেন। পক্ষের বক্তাদের মধ্যে আবেগ প্রচুর তাই তারা বাস্তবটিকে দেখতে পাচ্ছেন কিন্তু মেনে নিতে পারছেন না।

বাঙালী আর বাঙালী নেই।একদল,মানে বড় দল, হয়েছে মুসলমান;যারা কিনা বাংলার চেয়ে উর্দু আর আরবী ভাষা বেশী পছন্দ করে।আর ছোট দল হলো হিন্দুস্তানি;যারা আবার হিন্দি বলতে ই পছন্দ করে।

আমাদের south Indian দের দেখে কিছু শেখা উচিত, কই ওরাতো হিন্দি জানেনা ওরা নিজেদের ভাষায় সব কিছু করে, ওরা ভারতের বাঙালিদের থেকেও জনসংখ্যায় কম হয়েও নিজেদের গান,সিনেমা দেখে এমনকি বাহুবলী, KGF এর মত সিনেমা বানায় যা Bollywood স্বপ্নেও ভাবতে পারেনা।

আমি কিন্তু বাংলা ভাষা নিয়ে খুবই আশাবাদী, উপমহাদেশে সবচেয়ে বেশি ভাষাভাষী হচ্ছে ইংরেজির পরে বাংলা। দেখা যাচ্ছে প্রচারিত হিন্দি সিরিয়াল ও সিনেমাতে বাংলা ভাষার বহুল ব্যবহার। কেন যেন মনে হচ্ছে, বাংলা ভাষাটা বলতে না পারলেও ভারতবর্ষের সবাই বুঝতে পারে। ধর্মীয়ভাবে তীর্থস্থান বৃন্দাবনে বাংলা ভাষায় রচিত শ্রীচৈতন্যচরিতামৃত নিয়ে মূলত আলোচনা হচ্ছে। যা সকল তীর্থযাত্রীকে বুঝতে হয়। বাংলা ভাষা সদাই বেঁচে থাকুক সবার মনে,,, মনে হচ্ছে বাংলাটা তৃতীয় ভাষা হিসেবে সবাই জানে,

জানিনা "বাংলা ভাষার পিঠ দেওয়ালে ঠেকে গেছে" কি না কারণ এখনও আমরা যা কিছু করছি তার সবকিছুই বা বেশিরভাগ জিনিসই বাংলায় করছি। আমার মনে হয় বাংলা ভাষাকে একটা বড়ো ভাষা হতে দুটো জিনিস আটকাচ্ছে, ১মটি. আমরা বাংলাকে যতটা ভালোবাসার দরকার ততটা ভালোবাসিনা আর ২য়টি. আমাদের অনেকেই ইংরেজিকে একটি উৎকৃষ্ট (superior) ভাষা হিসেবে মনে করি। আমরা যে এই হলিয়ুড, বলিয়ুড, টলিয়ুডের ফিল্মগুলো দেখি সেগুলোকে বাংলায় dubbed আর subbed করতে পারে। জাপানি অ্যানিমেকেও বাংলায় dubbed আর subbed করতে পারে। অন্যান্য ভাষার বইগুলোকেও বাংলায় অনুবাদ করতে পারে। এগুলো করতে পারে কিন্তু করেনা যেটা আমার মনে হয় করা উচিত। নিজের মাতৃভাষার উপর নির্ভরশীল হওয়াটা ভুল না কিন্তু অন্য একটা ভাষা যেটা নিজের মাতৃভাষা না সেটার উপর নির্ভরশীল হওয়াটা ভুল। এসব করে আমরা ইংরেজির উপর আরও বেশি নির্ভরশীল হচ্ছি।

দশ কোটি , বাঙ্গালীর বাস পশ্চিম বঙ্গে৷, যা ইউরোপে একমাত্র রাশিয়ার চেয়ে কম। ইউরোপের একক কোনো দেশের জনসংখ্যা , দশ কোটির অধে'কও না। ফ্রান্স জনসংখ্যা সবচেয়ে বেশি, এবং তা পশ্চিম বঙ্গের জনসংখ্যার অধ্যে'ক, পাঁচ কটির কাছাকাছি।

ফেস বুকে র থেকে কেও বাংলা বা ইংরাজি শেখে না, বক্তব্য কে postএর মাধ্যমে আদান-প্রদান করে(share).ভাষার প্রয়োগে ভূল বা ঠিক সেখানে সমস্যা নয়,messege পাঠান টা জরুরি

আমার বাবা অল্প বয়সে বিদেশ গিয়েছিলেন,আধা সামরিক সঙ্স্থাতে কাজ করতেন, দেশে এসে বলতেন ইংরেজি তে কথা বলতে,বা বা কে কি ঘৃণা করা উচিৎ
বির্তক দেখে যা মনে হলো যারা অনুস্টানে কথা বলছেন উনাদের সবার মধ্যে সমস্যা রয়েছে। কারণ এমন একটি অনুষ্টানে যখন বিদেশি ভাষা বার বার মুখ থেকে আসে । তাহলে এই ভাষার উন্নতি কিভাবে হবে ।

সেটা খুব গর্বের বিষয়, কিন্তু কিছু মনে করবেন না ঢাকা এবং বাংলাদেশের আরো কিছু অঞ্চলের অভিজাত শ্রেণীর ব্যাক্তিরা বাংলা থেকে ইংরেজি ভাষাকে বেশি গুরুত্ব দিয়ে থাকে। আর ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের কথ্য ভাষায় ইংরেজি ভাষার প্রচন্ড ছাপ পাওয়া যায়, কিছু মনে করবেন না, বাংলা ভাষার সত্যি দেয়ালে পিঠ ঠেকে গেছে

সর্বভারতীয় স্তরের বিতর্কের কয়েকটা উদাহরণ দিন। কোন বিষয়ে সর্বভারতীয় বিতর্ক হলে এঁদের ডাক পড়বে বলে মনে করেন? ঘুরিয়ে কি বলা যাবে তথাকথিত সর্বভারতীয় পন্ডিতরা এখানে ডাক পাচ্ছেন না। নিতান্তই জানার আগ্রহ থেকে এই জিজ্ঞাসা।

I request the Bengalee Hindu people to learn English very well. I should not put the same request to mollah people : they may consider learning Arabic and Urdu apart from learning to make suicide bombers to kill non mollahs. However my request to Hindus may mostly prove futile : they are interested now in Hindi which is easier to learn. Hindus are not prepared do hard labour in the learning of English.

ভারতবর্ষের সমস্ত আঞ্চলিক ভাষার ক্ষেত্রেই এই কথা প্রযোজ্য। বাংলা ভাষার প্রকৃত সম্মান বাংলাদেশেই আছে। সেখানে হিন্দী বা ইংরেজী ভাষার ছাপ বা ছাপ নেই। সমস্ত আঞ্চলিক ভাষার ই পিঠ ঠেকে গেছে।

সমালোচনা করার পূর্বে ইংরেজি অক্ষর দিয়ে বাংলা লেখা বন্ধ করুন।
বাঙালি এমন একটা জাতি যারা খুব খুশি হয় এটা বলে যে আমার ছেলে তো বাংলা বলতেই পারে না, শুধু ইংলিশ বলে।

আমার মেয়ে জাতিসংঘে চাকরির করে।মেয়ে ইংরেজিতে মাষ্টারস্। কিন্তু অফিসে, কোনো বাংলা চিঠি আসলে, বসের( আমেরিকান) নিকট,ডাক পড়ে আমার মেয়ের,বাংলা চিঠিটি ইংরেজিতে তরজমা করার জন্য।
বাংলা ভাষার এক অসাধারণ উদারতা আছে। কিছু কিছু ক্ষেত্রে কিছু মানুষের অপব্যাবহারের জন্য বাংলা ভাষার আভিজাত্য কিছুটা আজ মলিন।
আমার মাতৃ ভাষার পিঠ ঠেকে যেতে পারেনা। বাংলা ভাষা অভিন্ন। তাকে কেউ ভেঙে গুড়িয়ে দিতে পারবেন না ।

শেস পর্যন্ত পিঠ ঠেকে যাওয়া মেনে ঘুরে দাঁড়ানোর অনুপ্রেরণা পেলাম
যারা বিপক্ষে বক্তব্য রেখেছেন তাঁরা কেউ বাংলা ভাষার বিরোধী নয়। তাঁরা কেবলমাত্র বর্তমান বাস্তব চিত্রটি তুলে ধরেছেন। পক্ষের বক্তাদের মধ্যে আবেগ প্রচুর তাই তারা বাস্তবটিকে দেখতে পাচ্ছেন কিন্তু মেনে নিতে পারছেন না।
বাঙালী আর বাঙালী নেই।একদল,মানে বড় দল, হয়েছে মুসলমান;যারা কিনা বাংলার চেয়ে উর্দু আর আরবী ভাষা বেশী পছন্দ করে।আর ছোট দল হলো হিন্দুস্তানি;যারা আবার হিন্দি বলতে ই পছন্দ করে।
সঞ্চালকের কথায় অনেক ইংরেজি শব্দ ব্যবহার করেছেন। যা প্রমাণ করে বাংলা ভাষার পিঠ দেয়ালে ঠেকে গেছে।

নেতাদের অপপ্রয়োগের জন্য আন্তর্জাতিক স্তরে বাংলা ভাষাকে কিছু বাধা পেতে হচ্ছে। ভীষণ দুভার্গ্যজনক।
বাস্তবটাকে অস্বীকার করে লাভ নেই। আজ ভদ্রভাবে বেঁচে থাকতে গেলে ইংরেজি ও হিন্দি ছাড়া চলবে না। এটাই আমার বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতা।

আমাদের south Indian দের দেখে কিছু শেখা উচিত, কই ওরাতো হিন্দি জানেনা ওরা নিজেদের ভাষায় সব কিছু করে, ওরা ভারতের বাঙালিদের থেকেও জনসংখ্যায় কম হয়েও নিজেদের গান,সিনেমা দেখে এমনকি বাহুবলী, KGF এর মত সিনেমা বানায় যা Bollywood স্বপ্নেও ভাবতে পারেনা।

আমি কিন্তু বাংলা ভাষা নিয়ে খুবই আশাবাদী, উপমহাদেশে সবচেয়ে বেশি ভাষাভাষী হচ্ছে ইংরেজির পরে বাংলা। দেখা যাচ্ছে প্রচারিত হিন্দি সিরিয়াল ও সিনেমাতে বাংলা ভাষার বহুল ব্যবহার। কেন যেন মনে হচ্ছে, বাংলা ভাষাটা বলতে না পারলেও ভারতবর্ষের সবাই বুঝতে পারে। ধর্মীয়ভাবে তীর্থস্থান বৃন্দাবনে বাংলা ভাষায় রচিত শ্রীচৈতন্যচরিতামৃত নিয়ে মূলত আলোচনা হচ্ছে। যা সকল তীর্থযাত্রীকে বুঝতে হয়। বাংলা ভাষা সদাই বেঁচে থাকুক সবার মনে,,, মনে হচ্ছে বাংলাটা তৃতীয় ভাষা হিসেবে সবাই জানে,

জানিনা "বাংলা ভাষার পিঠ দেওয়ালে ঠেকে গেছে" কি না কারণ এখনও আমরা যা কিছু করছি তার সবকিছুই বা বেশিরভাগ জিনিসই বাংলায় করছি। আমার মনে হয় বাংলা ভাষাকে একটা বড়ো ভাষা হতে দুটো জিনিস আটকাচ্ছে, ১মটি. আমরা বাংলাকে যতটা ভালোবাসার দরকার ততটা ভালোবাসিনা আর ২য়টি. আমাদের অনেকেই ইংরেজিকে একটি উৎকৃষ্ট (superior) ভাষা হিসেবে মনে করি। আমরা যে এই হলিয়ুড, বলিয়ুড, টলিয়ুডের ফিল্মগুলো দেখি সেগুলোকে বাংলায় dubbed আর subbed করতে পারে। জাপানি অ্যানিমেকেও বাংলায় dubbed আর subbed করতে পারে। অন্যান্য ভাষার বইগুলোকেও বাংলায় অনুবাদ করতে পারে। এগুলো করতে পারে কিন্তু করেনা যেটা আমার মনে হয় করা উচিত। নিজের মাতৃভাষার উপর নির্ভরশীল হওয়াটা ভুল না কিন্তু অন্য একটা ভাষা যেটা নিজের মাতৃভাষা না সেটার উপর নির্ভরশীল হওয়াটা ভুল। এসব করে আমরা ইংরেজির উপর আরও বেশি নির্ভরশীল হচ্ছি।

সেটা খুব গর্বের বিষয়, কিন্তু কিছু মনে করবেন না ঢাকা এবং বাংলাদেশের আরো কিছু অঞ্চলের অভিজাত শ্রেণীর ব্যাক্তিরা বাংলা থেকে ইংরেজি ভাষাকে বেশি গুরুত্ব দিয়ে থাকে। আর ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের কথ্য ভাষায় ইংরেজি ভাষার প্রচন্ড ছাপ পাওয়া যায়, কিছু মনে করবেন না, বাংলা ভাষার সত্যি দেয়ালে পিঠ ঠেকে গেছে

সর্বভারতীয় স্তরের বিতর্কের কয়েকটা উদাহরণ দিন। কোন বিষয়ে সর্বভারতীয় বিতর্ক হলে এঁদের ডাক পড়বে বলে মনে করেন? ঘুরিয়ে কি বলা যাবে তথাকথিত সর্বভারতীয় পন্ডিতরা এখানে ডাক পাচ্ছেন না। নিতান্তই জানার আগ্রহ থেকে এই জিজ্ঞাসা।

I request the Bengalee Hindu people to learn English very well. I should not put the same request to mollah people : they may consider learning Arabic and Urdu apart from learning to make suicide bombers to kill non mollahs. However my request to Hindus may mostly prove futile : they are interested now in Hindi which is easier to learn. Hindus are not prepared do hard labour in the learning of English.
