We're less than two weeks away from the kick-off of "Summer Glory" weekend! As tension builds, Coastal Championship Wrestling's flagship program is ready to air another great set of matches that will show you why the promotion has been around for over seventeen years! This evening's contests will be coming to you from Helios Granite in Nashville, TN and you don't want to miss how wild it got! We're kicking off the night with six-man tag team action that includes the "Jurassic Juggernaut" Vince Steele, Beastman, Monster Hunter, and MORE! In addition, it's the official rematch! Roma vs Marina Tucker!
A GOLIATH SIX MAN TAG
On the menu tonight is an action packed six-man tag team match! Regular CCW favorites like Vince Steele and Beastman (who certainly have unfinished business after the "Husk" ate his boots) will be representing separate teams and looking to come out on top in Tennessee! The actual lineup is Vince Steele, Deonte Marshall, & Josh Heater vs Beatman, Monster Hunter, & Noah Hossman! Fans familiar with these names know that this promises to be a smashmouth contest, and we just hope that Helios Granite has good property insurance coverage!
MARINA VS ROMA 2
It's fitting that this match take place here tonight. In one of the best contests of 2020, Helios Granite in Nashville was the scene where it all started. In anticipation for this evening, the CCW magazine staff collectively watched "Marina Tucker vs Roma 1". We couldn't help ourselves. What an incredible, hard-hitting contest by two of the best women's wrestlers on the independent scene today. That night, the "Detroit Barbie" lost her title because of outside circumstances. It would take months before she could get her revenge. Now, we've come full circle.
The first time these two met, it was an incredible back and forth contest. Still in the midst of the pandemic, the top women of Coastal Championship Wrestling delivered to our fans some much needed entertainment in a trying time. Evenly matched, it was becoming increasingly difficult to predict the winner. However, the moment Marina had finally carved out for herself was ruined by La Brava's interference. Roma just as well could have been champion on this night without the extra help, but that was the way the cookie crumbled.
Fast forward to "Ann17ersary". In the midst of a grueling triple threat ladder match involving all three aforementioned competitors, it was Tucker who had the last laugh when the "Go Hard Life Twins" appeared from backstage to give their friend an extra "boost" towards the title. It remains to be seen what would happen between these two in a match with no outside interference. Of course the fans will be wishing for this, but with so much acrimony surrounding all of these individuals we feel like there can be no guarantees!
