Ties That Bind from Season 1 of The Loud House was actually quite decent at times. Even though it did reminded me of that Powerpuff Girls (the 1998 TV series) episode where Bubbles had thought that Professor Utonium was going to get rid of the girls for someone else. Which is funny enough since Chris Savino was involved with the 1998 series of The Powerpuff Girls himself. There were some good and funny moments: Lily putting Bun-Bun in her mouth, the sisters convincing the parents not to kick Lincoln out of the house, when they thought that the parents were getting rid of something that was the "white hair", Lynn Sr. showing Rita a tie that played music, and even with the sisters trying to behave for their parents, including Luan becoming a mime. However, it was kind of cruel to see that when Lincoln thought that the parents were keeping one child, Lincoln wanted to make sure that he is kept, while the sisters are kicked out of the house, it was kind of cliched that the episode was like some of the other episodes you see on other TV shows, where a character mishears another character for a little misunderstanding, and the ending was just average, as it's another "here we go again" moment. Score: 5.5/10 👔👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🪢🧒😇👧 P.S. It is very strange that this episode was released before No Such Luck as they both have the same writer (Karla Sakas Shropshire). P.P.S. I wonder why Lynn Sr. loves collecting ties in the first place.

Fun fact: this episode started the questions we all have about Mr. Coconuts being sentient.

This was a very nice and funny episode. The way everything was written to be very silly and whacky within a slice of life format, was absolutely perfect in my eyes. It may be simple as all heck, but you know what they say, “Simple, but effective”, and this was definitely an effective episode in the sense that I had a lot of fun with it, and all these years later, I still do. Absolutely great review, home slice, and I hope you have a fun day today.😊❤️

This episode was pretty good and a classic from season 1. The hilariously morbid gag of the kids thinking their parents were talking about getting rid of them when they were actually talking about Lynn Sr’s ties was very funny. But Lincoln’s fantasies and joy about being an only child were super messed up. But the scene where the sisters stick up for him and where the parents reassure their kids that they would never get rid of them were very sweet. 8/10

Yup, it was all a misunderstanding, because of Lynn Sr's ties. But it was still a good and decent episode that I enjoyed! Great review, bro!

This episode was pretty decent to me. I could’ve told the kids from the very beginning that the parents were not getting rid of their own children even 11-year-old me would’ve said that, but they were freaking out and they thought it was because of their behavior so they tried to improve their behavior. It seemed to work and look at discovered that they were going to keep them, so Lincoln decides to make worlds best. Dad with chocolate chips and Lola can even read for some reason despite her camp reading in season 2 read aloud so the one question I have does this episode takes place after read aloud where Lola can read now then they hear a conversation about their parents telling which one they’re going to throw out and keep and it turns out the one they’re going to keep is Lincoln then they can overheard his parents again saying that they’re only going to get rid of one and it’s going to be the white tie but Lincoln thought it was going to be hand because he’s the only boy with the white hair and this where are the most popular fan theory at the time most people thought that Lincoln was actually adopted started this upsets Lincoln so he tells his sisters that he’s leaving, but his sisters won’t let him which is very nice. They will not let their parents throw out their only brother and it turns out from the very beginning that the parents were talking about ties and they clearly said that they would never throw out their kids literally a season later they literally kicked out Lincoln out of their house so a pretty average episode to me

Ties that Bind... TO THINK THAT A TALK ABOUT LYNN SR'S TIES WERE MISUNDERSTOOD AS WHO WILL BE OUT OF THE LOUD HOUSE FAMILY!!! Bloody hell, that was one interesting turnaround. Yes I did like this episode to be 100% honest. Linc's selfish imagination was *somewhat* relatable tbh, and yes I felt for Linc when he thought he would be the one who would be out of the family, because, just the idea that you could be out of your family... *also did the writers secretely foreshadow a certain episode by the "You're the best 10 things to ever happen to us" line?-* Overall: Yea this episode was really fun to see, and still is about 8 years after its initial premiering, AND BAH GAWD THAT RABBIT TIE OF LYNN SR WAS UGLIER THAN KANE!!! Sorry, had to... Final score 9/10

I will admit, ties that bind was decent. Seeing the kids react to their dad's tie decision, made them assume one of them was gonna get kicked out, they argued with each other and passed to Lincoln. However, i liked how they changed and proceeded to make sure Lincoln didn't leave. At the end, it was all a mistake and everything was fine. 8/10 as well. Great review, homie. Have a safe Dynamite Wednesday. ❤️😎🤙🧨💥🔥

Okay…I’ll admit it. I find this episode to be so dumb. Lincoln and his Sisters believing that they were getting kicked out is quite a stupid idea, and I found the punchline to be very predictable, and I’ll be honest I didn’t really enjoy Lincoln’s role in this episode as he was quite selfish, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy his fantasy, it was quite interesting to see. But overall, I was not a big fan of this episode, definitely one of S1 weak stories. 3/10

A classic episode that shows that you should never jump into conclusions based on the little information you randomly heard out of context without hearing the rest. Although, Lynn Sr. definitely should get rid of the white rabbit tie, since it's just straight up creepy. 7.5/10

And to think that the writer of Ties That Bind from Season 1 of The Loud House (Karla Sakas Shropshire) would also be responsible for the script of No Such Luck from Season 2 of The Loud House as well too... But in all honesty, I have heard recently that it was actually Chris Savino himself who was responsible for what we got in No Such Luck instead of Karla Sakas Shropshire. So...

Yeah, it was Chris Savino idea he even said in one of the videos about a year ago and even the writer who wrote that episode who also wrote this episode even had a completely different draft for no such luck and it was denied by Chris Savino because he thought his was better

This is a classic early episode. Gotta love it. Given the later reveal that the kids always buy ties as gifts for their dad, I can't help but wonder if some of the ties tge parents were discussing getting rid of were actually purchased by the kids. Maybe the pink one and the musical one really were gifts from Lola and Luna.

This is one of the better season one episodes, number 8 of my top ten list form that season. I thought that this would be higher but after reading it’s chapter on it in” reacting to the loud house” I have to admit that Lincoln was kind mean in it when he envisions his sisters being gone and he’s happy about it. Yeah he realizes what he did was wrong and he IS only 11 so I’m not going to Judge him too harshly its not so much that he got happy I could have taken that, it’s that the reason why he “snaps” out of it was that he thoguht only he would be gotten rid of. I just think it would have been better if he had gotten upset when his parents throwing away the pictures of his sisters in that vision. It would be his conscience reminding him that he loves his sister too much to just let them be kicked out. (sorry if this is confusing) Still, that doesn’t take away from this being a good episode, I loved the sisters defending Lincoln. The fact that they did even AFTER he was happy they would be gone shows that they did it because he’s their brother and they love him. Also, the fact that the kids misinterpreted their parent’s conversion about TIES being about them it just hilarious! Ok maybe Lori should have fallen for it, and she even brought how stupid of an idea that was but I can accept that for this plot to happen. Like I said the moment where his sisters stand up for him more than makes up for any complaints that I can think of. 8/10

This one is my least favorite of season 1. Lincoln's vile behavior in the latter half of the episode completely negates every single positive I could think of. I understand ur reasons for liking it. I just personally take umbrage with it.
