ChillySunshine put a lot of effort, into every pic. Somehow, these simple pics, always seem you really help bring the stories to life. Most of them include, a kind of Easter egg, in the way they transform, usually at the end. Sadly Chilly passed about 5 years ago, so I usually reply to the nicer posts, in his honor. RIP Chilly. You done good! 💜🙏

Many comments regarding Shawshank Redemption but there aren’t that many parallels. In SR the main characters wife was murdered. Plus, his cell mate dug the tunnel not him.

It's my POV that the formula for destiny is equal amounts free will, chance and "necessity". Where did I learn that? From a cartoon! One can find wisdom in surprising places, not the least of which is on the outhouse wall.

Theologically, this would be called CALVINISM and I detest it!!!! John 3:16 says For God so LOVED the World that He gave His one and only Son. That WHOSOEVER BELIEVES in Him would not perish but have eternal life. The WHOSOEVER BELIEVES part include the entire world. To believe is a choice.

+Joanna Gillian I detest the idea of pre destination, myself. There is absolutely no point in it! If we cannot hope to improve ourselves, what is the whole reason for free will and striving to be good? It sounds like hell. Pure and simple. We are human beings, not automatons, burdened with original sin as well!

Hi Lisa! Calvinistic Pre-destination insists that God is the source of ALL, including Sin, which makes ZERO sense. How can humanity be held accountable for what GOD decided? For God to KNOW the choices we make is fine. But for Him to DECIDE our choices takes away free will and makes us puppets. Atomatons. And makes GOD the MOST UNJUST JUDGE. When you commit a crime and set someone else for it, it's INJUSTICE. If God decided humanity would fall, (after telling them what NOT to do) that's not only injustice it's hypocrisy.

Lisa S Wild how a CBS radio show became a religion discussion. I love it! Have you ever read "WHAT LOVE IS THIS?" by Dave Hunt. That book brought me back from the very brink of atheism when I was trying to figure out what Calvinism was. YIKES. The things I was finding had me so stressed and angry that I was close to jumping ship. I knew SOMETHING was wrong but I kept finding Calvinist stuff that was talking about how God has a clique, 'elect', and to hell with everyone else. What LOVE is This? was a GODSEND and I've practically colored it in high liter. If you want a copy, you MIGHT be able to get it from one of those big book stores or go to thebereancall.com/

@@ItWILLbeWONDERFUL_THERE Your own theology (like Dave's, and Leighton's et al) is the result of your belief that 'the Bible' is a 500 year old translation into English, which (in your minds) trumps the original Koine Greek manuscript tradition. In the Greek original John 3:16 claims that "...all those who believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life". You need the English KJV to supersede the Bible it was translated from to get your popular-yet-unscriptural 'Armenian' theology...... The Bible claims that: A) God knew you ~before~ you were born B) God Gave a very particular group of named people to the Word/Son/Messiah C) The Messiah said, "My sheep hear my voice" D) He also said that He would not lose even ONE of His 'elect' (through, say, your prized supposed Attribute of ~free will~ lol) E) We were ALL born *dead* in sin (thanks for that, Adam...), and utterly unable to even seek God. The ONLY thing that causes God's truth to make sense to anyone is the work of the Holy Spirit (who's working off that List created before the foundation of the world). So........according to the entirety of Scripture, salvation was/is NOT "available to ~all~"; it's only for those God, in His soviergnty, chose. Most people don't like those biblical truths much; most people are 'rebellious toward their Maker'. Go figure....... 'Calvinism' is another word for 'biblical literalism'.

Shi Cruisin', you missed it then because he confessed his sins. You assume so much yet know so little. Listen again, and search for the deeper meaning.

Well that was stupid. So he dies in jail, never ever getting justice, and the real murderer lives on and will soon be free coz of the tunnel, which Mr innocent didn't want to blab about. Super. The glories of the pleasure of the moment of freedom due to dying.....is SO overrated :P
