Dear Sir, My son studies in 6th Stad State syllabus and he is youngest in the class.But he is good at studies. For some reason we decided to change to CBSE 7th. Since he couldn't do good in entrance exam, school administration advising to repeat class 6th of CBSE and the new school doesn't have Sanskrit so he has to take up Hindi. Sir I want to switch from DSC to CBSE boar as the present school is Govt aided and not very serious about studies. They only serious about studies for std 8th onwards. Hi dear i think u should take sociology coz it contains the topics which r easy and common If u r good in computers u can take IT But if u have a vast power of ideas go for sociology

Cbse foucses on more conceptual where as state boards are mugging oriented, so it is better that u learn from your books itself instead of youtube.

For iit u ncert is very better, but not enough, u need books like allan module to crack IIt, and u have to be very devoted in studying, like 10 to 12 hours a day minimum, to get into IIT.

Yes definitely you can change your board after 10th. Yes, it is good. Since, C.B.S.E is a standard board which well recognized all over India. Some state boards create problem in marks when a candidate shift to other state, or apply colleges in other state.

Taking CBSE board would give you advantage also if your parents have to transfer for job , or while applying for a job it would have more recognition, it is clearly mentioned in the video that CBSE would be better to clear jee and besides that you won't have to study an extra language and most of the syllabus in jee also comes from ncert books however you would need to focus on science and maths

If u are preparing IIT, then u need to practice from books like allen module etc, and your concepts have to be crystal clear to crack IIT, and u have to have very damm good speed, 1 minute per question.

Kindly visit near by college if possible. They will be able to inform you better. There may be some issue since syllabus may not be same and matching. It may also be possible since we did the same for 1 student many years ago in Maharashtra.
