2023 - 24 batch is unluckiest...all last dreadfull experiments by cbse and nta been done on us...after us everyone has becoming good...even when we were in 10th..experiment of two times exam during covid was done on us...

I think this will reduce the competition, as few students might think that they don't have to study much for their exams as they will be provided books on the other hand few might study. And also I don't think we would be provided extra time and half of our time would be wasted in finding answers in the books, making it difficult for us to complete exam on time.

Don't worry guys, Open-Book exams will be tested from November in 'specific' schools. Full implementation will be done from either 2025-26 batch or 2026-27 batch 😂

It's beneficial to have an open-book test As it allows students to answer questions without having to memorize material; instead, they should completely understand the concepts. This will facilitate their learning process instead of having them memorize the material without understanding.

@@hahaha_wow students are supposed to learn the concepts over the entire year not study during exam just because its open book, and open book doesn't mean to search for concept in book during exam it is for the purpose that if they have forgot a few points then they can take help of the book, its more like an option like if you know the answer then you wont need the book anyways

Sir one side cbse is making so many changes to make indian education system a better but other side they still give case study based qns which has nothing to do with case study given we just have to answer the qn acc to the concept we have studied in ur textbook. I think OPE would be like mind game. Like u see the examiner wouldn't put question directly from the book but the conclusion of specific concept. Some students might find it tricky but those who will know this game might take less time to solve the ques. Another merit is that, we don't have to learn the formulas for each topic. I feel both pity and good for our juniors cause it might not develop their brain in specific topic or subject but might develop their skills in decision making and how to manage the time.

Open book exam --- 1) for weak student - Students have to find and read the concept, use their brain then write the solution. So much time is needed, creating a lot pressure on students😢😢 For good students - 😅😅

Sir, I think 🤔 that 2 times board exam in a year and open book examination will only be effective if in first time this should be open book and second exam without open book with half syllabus in each and result must be prepared by consisting both exams with 50% each ... I don't think so that this open book test which cbse is planning to conduct is good as the examiner who is making paper know that all questions are from t.b so they prepare the question paper which is not from t.b...I will be hard more than first. So I suggest what is running now keep it as it is.This is good that 2 board exams are conducted in a year.This will be easy for all to give 2 attempts in a year.All can easily be passed.
