This was really entertaining! If not for channels like this, some of these broadcasts would have been lost forever.

Does anyone else have a hard time telling the difference between the voice of Mandel Kramer and Ralph Bell? Both were popular radio actors during the golden age of radio drama, and both did a large number of Mystery Theatre episodes, and to me, their voices are very difficult to tell apart. This episode stars Bell, but I thought it was Kramer.

Although this was broadcast in '77, it's very reminiscent of a 1950's 'B' movie story. Kind of a mash up of "The Unknown World" with "The Transparent Man." Kind of silly but fun.

The drill vehicles look really cool, but there's no way it would ever work . The drill would have to be larger than the vehicle and making it very unstable . These were make popular with the old Japanese sci-fi shows .

When he said "allergic to the sun" my jaw dropped! I'm allergic to the sun (solar urticaria). I need to move to another planet, the UV is 9 today (10 yesterday). When he said that line, I wondered if they knew of s.u. back then? Either way, he could hang out in my windowless refuge!🚫🌞👍

Gooniddly No idea, but I have the same feeling. The main character in this story, "Mole", just screams "Bond villain" and his device brings to mind the cartoon adaptation of the Jules Verne story Master of the World.
