Listening from Los Angeles, indiscernible from the other 20 million people living here. Anonymous. Safe. With wonderful company as this story from another time plays out, caressing us to sleep. Pleasant dreams everyone.

04-29-24 Listening from Southern Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦43* N. I love these few stories they did on the Native North American Indians and wish they’d done more. Unfortunately, all the Native North American Indians, from both countries, are still getting short shrift today. I think it is a great story - including the Native North American Indians up the St. Lawrence seaway to Montreal, Canada, as well. “All” the Native North Americans - American and Canadiens together - as friends. May all sleep well tonight, and dream sweet dreams ! 🙏❤🫠 A very good night to all !

Don't forget the uncounted indigenous children literally killed by adults their charge by O CANADA. Not my words. That FACT was from PBS here in the states.

@@catherine4092 Yes, I really do take care, but thank you for reminding me! You are a very kind person, and I appreciate your concern ! Many years ago, when I was in high school, I needed to have a part time job to help pay for school supplies. I was lucky to find a job at our town hospital. I would walk 2 miles to school, 2 miles back, and change and walk across town, another 2 miles to work. I worked from 4:30 pm to 11:30. Then walk home and do my homework until about 2 am. Up at 6 am to walk to school all over again. Weekends I worked either one or two 7 hr shifts. I was 14 when I started working as a nurse’s aid on the major surgery floor. One of the first things I was taught was how to wash the body of someone who died and get it ready for the morgue to come get them. So I know what working long shifts can be like. In the summer, I worked either morning, afternoon or night shifts. Twelve hr shifts are very hard, as I know you know. You should be appreciated more than you are ! 🙏❤😘🫠 Take care, my dear!

The 1000-year-old Indian was younger than Carl Reiner. Reiner played a 2000-year-old man in one of his comedy recordings.😂

Please, can we have transcripts. Some of us have a loss of hearing. Otherwise, these shows are great. Takes me back to my youth.
