A GREAT story! One that I had searched for for many years. I heard it the first time at my grandads house in Virginia, but I didn’t have my recorder going:) It took me years to find it, 29 to be exact. But I always remembered it. Finally, another Mystery Theater trader understood the episode I was looking for and traded with me on cassette tape. Glad that is finally here on KZread!

08-18-23 Listening tonight, from Southern Ontario, Canada, 43* N. 🇨🇦 A very interesting story, and I like Larry Haines and Evie Juster. Considering the tight timelines back then, 3 hr rehearsals in the morning, and the final recording right after, the stories they were able to produce weekly were very well done. Most actors only received $75.00 normally for their day’s work on a show. Very cool weather, around 11-15* C most of this past week, and a good deal of rain - nearly every day, and sometimes torrential for an hour or two. The thunder sounds odd, too, more like the sound of muffled gunfire, and the cloud formations of the skies look very odd as well. It all gives a very……….odd vibe somehow. Hope everyone have a good, restful sleep tonight. .🙏🙂
