For now. Give it 10 years. The price it is now doesn't just represent it's manufacturing costs but it's research and development, too. Now that we know it's possible there will be other companies that start developing competitive products and the price will come down. Kind of like battery powered cars. 10 years ago only the super rich could afford it. Now a brand new battery powered car isn't much more expensive than a brand new petrol powered car. Technology is moving so fast it won't be anymore than 2 decades before these kind of machines are mainstream... well, i hope so.

People probably said the same thing when cars started gaining popularity and look how far we’ve come. Not saying you’re wrong! But imagine someone from 1910 seeing today’s 5 lane highways and traffic lights and 7 way intersections… so complex, yet they work. So perhaps in 50 years we’ll be flying cars around no problem, thinking back to the days where we were wondering if it was even possible

Why on earth would you not reverse the seating position?? Then you would lie back on entry and be seated upright and with a view in flight. This appears to be a glaring design fault considering the limitations of the present configuration vs the advantage that would be brought by being able to see where you are going.
