I hate most uses of AI imaging but this has to be one of the few exceptions. Most AI art is bland, uninspired, and with barely any human input. Here, AI’s being wielded to craft a specific creative image.

I actually love the detail of Russia invading in 81. It always kind of bothered me how powerful the mod lets Russia become post unification. After little over a decade of Luftwaffe bombings and continuous war between each of the Russian warlord factions, the newly united Russia would definitely need a decade or so to recover and then build up its power before they have a shot at defeating the Germans. THEN THE GREAT TRIAL MAY BEGIN!

Yeah. The Taboritsky one was kinda pushing the believability aspect, but Yazov's footage really showed the 3D-generated edges of what is supposed to be "realistic". Still, it's a bit insane that we got to here in the first place.

One small immersion nitpick. I love the robot voice, it sounds cool and retro, but it is hard to understand. This would not work in a realistic emergency broadcast message where clarity is absolutely necessary.

This is pretty neat! Scarily realistic. However, back in the 80s, the US would have still been using the Emergency Broadcast System with a prerecorded announcement instead of the Emergency Alert System with a text to speech announcement. The EAS was first tested in the late 1990s, and text to speech EAS alerts were tested in the 2000s.

This video reminds me of the cutscene in C&C Red Alert, but with more context. Great video!

I love seeing these videos because I play the TNO mod time to time and I like to actually recreate some of these videos and then play them as if the video is reporting on what I'm doing. Really good content. I really want to see a possible video on the Hawaiian Missile Crisis or maybe the Atomic Bombing of Pearl Harbor.

I wonder what scenario is next, vyatka unifies Russia and creates the Russian empire? Tomsk? Novosibirsk? Also, I want to see a Go4 Germany news broadcast from the OFN perspective, that would be cool.

There are an unlimited number of awesome things you could do with this. You could train AI to write more objective news reports (or at least, attempting to, as they did then) than modern media and then have this thing read it to you like it was from 50 years ago.
