Masha allah very good video my doubt is that the 15:49 here the dial gauge is fixed outside of the mould so there may be force acting on it. Which may disturb the exact reading is that ok sir?

Yes dear total distance in gauge called swelling (in millimeters) .. And you can calculate swelling with formula.. (Disturbance /height of sample) ×100

We can use Relative density apparatus and achieve max density then perform unsoked CBR test.

Dear yellow soil SM group mn hoti hai as per indian standard... Aur es ka CBR% 10 to 20 hota hai.. (IS 1498-1980)

How would you compact a CBR when 95% of maximum dry unit weight is desired? Does this require a proctor result first?

Yes Proctor results required to achieve 95% compaction.. You can also calculate the weight for 95% density.. We know that Density=mass/volume Then Mass=density*volume

@@MaterialTesting by this do you mean … an example of a proctor result of 101.0 (dry density) and 20.0% moisture … 95% of of your proctor is 95.95 so you would compact your cbr at a target weight of 95.95 correct?

Dear jamshaid Ali, actually CBR index is CBR value... The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test is a penetration test used to evaluate the subgrade strength of roads and pavements..
