Rumors has it he wrote the song for another man, Ney Matogrosso, also a famous singer in Brazil, and used the nickname (codinome) "beija-flor", which means "hummingbird". Very good song, you should check Ideologia - Cazuza

A doença do Cazuza já estava bem adiantada .. a Simone teve muita coragem nessa época.. não se sabia muito e algumas informações eram controversas sobre o contágio..

This music is such a sweet beautiful poem. Cazuza is one of our greatest singers and poets from the post contemporaneity. By this time, he was almost living us, due to Aids. And no! Hahaha! Although Simone is lesbian and looks and sounds like a boy she was born a woman and stayed like that. And the duet is known for being a gay duet, since Cazuza was gay and Simone too, it was not very well accepted in Brazilian society (till this day, I could say), but back then, people said so many bad things about him because he was dying of Aids and to the fact that he was gay.
