I remember those beautiful powder white sand beaches as well.

The sun , the sand and the water are really this good at Cayo Santa Maria . I have been many times and this is my favorite spot . Safe and affordable with many good resorts . The staff at these resorts are great so treat them well . If you want the calmest water stay at the Iberostar Ensenachos or adult only Angsana resort which is new . I also stayed a number of times at the Melia Cayo Santa Maria. There are other good resorts depending upon your price range. I will be back in 2024 .

@@TaintedMango this beach was in the top 10 beaches in the world in TripAdvisor last year. This year they have varadero. Cuba is top for beaches in the Caribbean, imo. Also, one of the safest island to travel! Cheers from Naples, Florida

It is an amazingly beautiful beach. While I was kayaking, I saw a huge spotted eagle ray swim right beneath my kayak.

It is the most beautiful beach that I have seen (so far) in Cuba!

I went in Jan of 2020 with my wife, I loved it there. Can not wait to go back, this time of at least 3 weeks.

I have been all over Cuba - the warmest area is Santiago - the most beautiful beach - Cayo Santa Maria and/or Cayo Guillermo/Cayo Coco

We went to CSM many times at different hotels. But it is the STARFISH we like the most. The beach is paradise. We hope to get back their pretty soon. DAMN COVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (When did you do that video?)

We decided to book a vacation at the "last minute" and went in mid January of 2020, just before all this started to happen (we started hearing about Covid while watching the news at the hotel). We started from the Grand Memories, and made a U-turn near the Melia Buena Vista (where the video starts) and walked back to the Sanctuary, before making another U-turn back to the Grand Memories/Paraiso junction. Thanks for watching. If you haven't already, don't forget to subscribe!

The stretch of beach runs most of the length of Cayo Santa Maria in Cuba. Many of the all-inclusive resorts on this cayo include some free kayak time per day. Thanks for your comment and for stopping by. Come back any time.

WTH? I checked into go to one of the resorts, then I checked into “the rules” when a American wants to visit Cuba. I just like to sit in the beach. But Cuba what’s you to have a full itinerary. I guess it’s Jamaica again.

Cay Santa Maria is approximately 400 kilometers (240 miles) from Havana - My guess is that drive time may be somewhere between 5 or 6 hours.
