because it is a remote island, some items in he buffet suddenly aren't there. If the wind is from the south and the waves are high, there is no snorkeling and the supply boat can't venture across the offshore sand bar to get into the harbor.

I just arrived home yesterday from my second trip to Cayo largo. What is the best time of year for deep sea fishing. (Sail fish) A yacht coming from Havana only had luck with barracuda. I was sad to hear of the passing of the marina crocodile.

Hi and thanks for the question. You have me stymied I am afraid. My specialty is fly fishing on the shallow saltwater flats. So, I know almost nothing about the deep sea fishing in Cuba. I wish I could have helped more. Let me know if fly fishing on the flats is something that is of interest to you and that we might be able to help you with in Cuba.
