Incercare de vizita Cavoul Roman din Galati, intr-o zi torida de vara.
Situat pe strada Otelarilor, intre blocurile D14 si D16, Cavoul Roman - sit arheologic inscris pe Lista Monumentelor Istorice galatene - este unicat: cel mai timpuriu monument de acest fel descoperit in lumea romana din zona aceasta, mormant care a apartinut, cel mai probabil, unui comandant militar din perioada de maxima dezvoltare a zonei Barbosiului.
Vegetatia inconjoara cortul sub care se afla monumentul, iar in ziua in care am ajuns acolo nu am putut vizita cavoul.

Located on Otelarilor street, between blocks D14 and D16, the Roman Cavoul - an archaeological site listed on the List of Galatian Historical Monuments - is unique: the earliest monument of this kind discovered in the Roman world in this area, a tomb that most likely belonged to a military commander from the period of maximum development of the Barbosi area.
Vegetation surrounds the tent under which the monument is located, and on the day I arrived there I could not visit the cave.
