What about the potential at a point in the conductor ? It should be constant as conductor is an equipotential volume. What value ?

Electric field is zero inside the counductor so potential is also zero

@@83saurabhraval75 electric field is negative of potential gradient E= - dV/dr so E is zero in the region where V is constant. This is the case of a charged conductor which is an equipotental volume. A major concept of conductor in electrostatic equilibrium.
