The closer to Tagaytay the higher the rents and heavy traffic. I am in Silang, between Dasmarinas and Tagaytay. . .less traiffic but 15-20 minutes either way. Hospitals, schools, and other amenities. Love it for 13 years.

We are just a hop away from you in Antipolo/Teresa. We own our own property and charge our tenants PP21,000 pcm for a four bedroom house in a gated community. We are also at quite a high elevation, so there's no need for aircon. I agree with you that being in this area - we are 1-2 hours from Manila depending on traffic - is ideal.

I must have a nice new unfurnished 2-3 bedroom place for around 15,000-20,000 pesos per month, and it must also be a quiet place (no loud music or karaoke aloud on the premises. Any additional information that you could give to me would be greatly appreciated. Yes, I am single with no intensions of marriage.

Hello, first I would like to that you for a great video! May I ask how the Cavite area would work for someone visiting for vacation? I have a dream to sometime in the future spend half a year in the Philippines after I retire, but that is far time in the future for me. I am 49, and dont expect to be able to retire early because of a divorce. I have never used drugs, smoked or even been really drunk so I really do look for a party scene, but as I would travel alone friendly locals, sweet girls and decent food is high on my list. I also like to sometimes help people who are in need, so I also would like to ask if there are some squatter areas that is not too dangerous for a white guy to walk around in alone. I have made walks to help and feed homeless in Cebu city, but did not manage to go to the areas where the people needed my help the most. I tried once and almost got robbed, and leared that there are places you should not go alone if you are not a local.

Depends on how small of a pension? Also depends on your life style and how much you want to travel around. 1k a month and you can live in a 1 bedroom or studio with wifi and AC going 24/7 and eat decent. You can't go out every night but you can once a week. You can take some local trips every couple a months. Now if you want a GF your expenses will go up to 1.5k to 2k. It all depends on your life style.
