Not sure if you guys know this, but "crow-tit" or parrotbill is translated from the Korean word baepsae (뱁새), which is a type of bird used as a Korean social status symbol for someone without privilege. It's based on the Korean saying "If a parrotbill walks like a stork, it will tear its legs." Which basically means, "If you don't have privilege, don't bother trying to be like someone who does have it - you should know your place." The song Not Today is rejecting this attitude and calling upon underprivileged people to lift their hands and fight together alongside BTS. This ties right into the group's Bulletproof Boy Scouts + ARMY concept as defenders of underdogs, based on their own history starting out as underdogs with little money coming from a small company. (BTS also has an earlier song called Baepsae/Silver Spoon that references this same concept, along with a similarity to the Western expression of being “born with a silver spoon in your mouth” or having privilege.)

Korean crow-tit, a type of bird, but is also has the meaning of 'try hard' due to a Korean saying There's a phrase in Korean "뱁새가 황새 걸음을 걸으면 가랑이가 찢어진다", which means "if a crow-tit walks like a stork, it will break its legs." The meaning is that you’ll ruin yourself if you try to imitate someone better than you.

This song is my motivation and inspiration. Notice my name is BAEPSAE, which is the small bird that they translated as crow tit. Every BTS song has lyrics so multileveled that I could write a graduate-level thesis. I agree when you said this song reference their haters. The amount of hate that BTS and ARMYs had to deal with throughout the years are ridiculous. Let me give you an example of what the haters did on May 7 at 7pm in 2016 when they planned a vicious twitter hashtag attack against BTS. They specifically chose that date & time because it was after BTS HYYH concert. They want both ARMYs & BTS who was probably very happy after the concert to see the malicious hashtag. The amount of disrespect is unimaginable. ARMYs really gave a big fight then trying to drown the hashtag so that the boys didn't see it but they did see it which make ARMYs really sad. A crow-tit (baepsae) is a type of bird (real fluffy with short af legs), it's also used as someone who ruins themselves by trying to copy/imitate people who are higher class than them. So a baepsaedeura (I believe that's how it is written?) is referring to all the underdogs who are labelled as tryhards just because they are trying to make it, get to better places.
