Sad part about JT is I had a long talk with his father Pierre Elliott Trudeau during the 1979 election campaign, he door knocked my parents house in Toronto. I was 20 and the only one home, we sat on the porch, he gave me about 45 minutes. I was impressed, disagreed with him on most points, but he was passionate about democratic Rights and Freedoms. I didn't clue into why at the time, clearly he was thinking if he won he'd bring a constitution to our country, which he did. I will say this about PET, he was a passionate believer in said Rights and Freedoms, I enjoyed his arguments immensely. How sad that it's his son (I know I could thrown in the Castro joke here) who stepped all over our constitution.

I am almost ashamed to say that I was a student and graduated from the University of Toronto. At that time, 45 years ago, we were conscientious of being at one of the finest, if not the finest university in Ontario. How they have fallen! They should be in class or at the library studying. If they want to take a break, they should be able to lay in the sun on the grass of the greens, but not occupy it with an encampment. What is going on in their minds that they think that they could somehow effect Israel, the Canadian government or Jewish people by behaving in such a manner? If anything this sort of behaviour has made me think that the Jewish people need a homeland as Israel is in case things really get bad in Canada. These supporters of the Palestinians are not doing their cause any favours by attacking Jews. What happened on October 7 was terrible what is happening now in Gaza and the West Bank is terrible and what is happening here isn’t going to help.

Enough reason in this video alone to prohibit the protests. If you can't protest peacefully, you ruin it for the rest. The hate speech fueling the Palestine protests should have been stamped out in the onset. This is what it has evolved to.

I don't see it getting any better as we roll into summer. I'd avoid planning any trips to the big cities until the fall and cold weather comes back and the fair weather activists go back home to mom and dads warm house.

Sucks we can't do what we should do. Hopefully Pierre will change the laws so that we can without being punished. Things like this wouldn't even have a chance to get started!!

It's time to ask IDF to help clear these terrorist supporters! Nazis were not okay before, they are not okay today! Canada clearly has no hand in dealing with the young nazis, so time to ask for outside help!

1. Its not Jews as such - he carry Israel flag, so it may be understandable pro-palestinians become extra sour and the situation gets extra inflammed. 2. Its NOT peaceful demonstrations by these propalestinians, they are rather violent. a) they hide alike bandits - NOT pretty b) they take off others property by violence. Even if its an Israeli flag. c) potentially they are violent to the jewish person as well. 3. The only open face persons is this Jew, and a couple of neutral persons trying to calm down the situation. Well done! 4. There is also some sort of a police officer, but she doesnt not do much. Its the civilian neutrals whom do all the calming down.
