I went to Lollapalooza the first 2 years, '91 and '92 I believe, and Cypress Hill was walking around the venue, watching other bands, and they saw me and my friends, sitting on a blanket, smoking bud, and invited themselves to join us. They sat down, talked, smoked 3 or 4 j's with us, said thanks and left. Not sure if people near us even knew who they were. Not sure if it was the same year or not but Boo-yaa T.R.I.B.E. was also walking around and people parted like the Red Sea. Nobody came within 10 yards of them. Those were some BIG dudes.

Yeah man, a little latin flavor, a little hip-hop flavor, the best recipes have all kinds of ingredients that complement each other, and when you balance them right, that shit is gourmet deliciousness. Same with La Musica. Seems like music stagnates here and there, starts sounding them same, and then another flavor comes in and it changes the game. As it should, a little change can be awesome, how boring would it be if all music "had" to be limited in some way. The good news is that we can find other music every day if we take the opportunity to seek it out. Personally, music is my spine that keeps me moving and connected.
