Both Dr. Nauman and Rasheed are legends in their own right. However, they are so humble the way they were listening to Mr. Ayaz Memon about cricket.

Caught behind us on a roll off late. Such a pleasure to listen thoughtful discussion with a historical perspective. Love Ayaz Saab’s encyclopedic knowledge and very matter of fact analysis. He reminds me of another gentleman of his vintage, Vijay Lokpally.

It was midnight, and I was reviewing this pre-recorded video, but it was worthwhile. We anticipate additional episodes of this nature in the future, where discussions should focus on constructive feedback for improving cricket rather than solely criticism.

Great program, getting the insight and experience of Dr. Ayaz Memon. All along he was asked questions or fir his insights about How Pakistan Cricket was in '80s n '90s. Dr. Nauman and Rashid Bhai both are giggling, hearing Ayaz sahab sharing the experience of the Pakistan team, their credibility, and their ability and their glorious days in Cricket. But all that Ayaz sahab has shared, is history now. Unfortunately, probably everybody in Pakistan or related to Pakistan, finally resort to their past which was glorious. But was that the purpose of this great video discussion?.. if yes, then, I don't I should point out anything. My take was that, calling a Journalist Genius in Dr. Memon, Dr. Nauman and Rashid Bhai would be discussing at length about the way for Pakistan out of the soup that the Team is in currently. Everybody knows about Pakistan's dominance in Cricket, Pakistan's glorious days of Cricket in the '80s & '90s. So, while Dr. Memon all praise for Pakistan, Dr. Nauman and Rashid Bhai didn't forget to add repeatedly that India was not strong at all. But they themselves never mentioned India's corrective, resurrecting action for strengthening it's Cricketing structure, becoming a force to reckon with and not continuing to play mediocre cricket. After the debacle 2007 ODI World Cup, India responded to it's humiliation by taking the corrective measures immediately. Dr. Memon highlighted that. I would have been more happy had the Caught Behind team been more assertive in discussing Pakistan Cricket's resurrection from the deep hole it's gone into than about Pakistan's glory in the past. Maazi mein wapas jaane se aaj ke haalat nahi sudharte. Inspite of having Dr. Ayaz Memon on the show, though the show was great from another perspective, but it bit the dust because the focus of discussion was something else. It's fairly disappointing.

Ayaz surprisingly missed wicketkeeper opener Kaluwiterna of Shreelanka who made attacking cricket a new phenomenon.

Yuvraj singh is the all time best cricket player of India.

I was a student in the 80"s Pakistan had a brilliant team those days. Majid Khan Sadiq Mohd Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad, Mustaq Mohd, Wasim bari , Sarfraz nawaz, Imran Khan Abdul qadir ...all world class ! Majid Khan was my favourite .

Azam Khan, son of Moin Khan, and Babar Azam, cousin of Umar Akmal, are prominent figures in cricket. Shadab Khan is married to Saqlain Mushtaq's daughter, while Shaheen Afridi is the son-in-law of Shahid Afridi. However, the rest of the team appears to be inadequately educated, struggling with basic aspects of the game such as running between the wickets, understanding the rules, and using the Decision Review System (DRS) effectively. The captain seems to lack a grasp of pitch conditions and setting targets, and he even places an older player in the slip position. The core issue appears to be their lack of education; their victories stem more from enthusiasm than strategic intelligence.

Ayaz missed Farookh Engineer, Indian wicketkeeper opener who gave a steady opening score of about 40/50 runs per innings and Deelip Sirdesai the middle order batsman which helped Gavaskar get an undisturbed openings and partnership leading to Gavaskar doing great scoring in 1971 series in which Gavaskar scored total of 779 runs off 4 tests.

IDK why people are praising this episode. Usually, the show guests are on-point with Q&A. Ayaz may have been good back in the day, but was quite disappointing today. EVERY SINGLE response from him was tangential to the questions posed by Doc saab and Rashid. Oye kya sawaal, kya jawaab? I don't mind senior guests on the show, but Ayaz came across as a typical fufaji regaling grand stories from past. As a fan of this show from India, this was quite a torture to listen to. Overall, I like how CB is getting newer hosts - pls get folks from other countries too and not just India. It'll add to the richness of the conversations.

Ayaz Memom is going all around the place.. Questions form Rashid were good, but AM was not to the point. His articles are great and he has tremendous knowledge... but this interview was a dampner.. did not watch it completely.. Do get in Harsha Bhogle.. it would be interesting.
