Wow! What a scenic and evidently tasty place. Great job reporting on a piece of the world I've never seen. You're right; there's no place like that in NC--at least, not around here in Raleigh. I enjoy travelling vicariously with you guys. Thanks for taking me along.

This is awesome! We have seen this restaurant on the travel channel before and thought it would be great to visit. Loved the scenery! So glad that it lived up to your expectations and you weren't disappointed. You had David on the best steak in Texas and you've never had a better steak. Looks like such an amazing experience. I would HIGHLY recommend it! I am a lover of all things ribeye, and I've had some great ones. This one, in my opinion, was unbeatable. If I'm ever in El Paso again, I will make the 35 minute drive back out to The Cattleman.

70°F is a cool day in el paso....we in the 100° now..good times

We were actually in the beautiful city of El Paso, on Christmas Day. It was in the mid-70s that day.

Really enjoyed the video and glad that y'all weren't disappointed! The Restaurant is only 1032 miles from where I live, north of Baton Rouge 😮. I wonder if they deliver! 😂 Have fun and a safe trip back.

Lol...Not sure about the delivery part. I'm guessing a steak like that, is best enjoyed right there at the table. But if you're in that area, its definitely worth it.

When the car was beeping, you were probably going over the center line or the line to the right. My daughter’s car does that.

Could be. It beeped for something called "Eco Mode" with the fuel tank, and also when it detected possible icy roads, which was obviously not the case in this video. But it did that again when we encountered snow in Arizona.

I've seen your video for Cherokee Grill in Gatlinburg. Would you say Cattleman's Steakhouse has a better steak than Cherokee Grill?

Wow, that's tough. Cherokee Grill is our favorite ribeye in the Smokies. I'll just say that the Cattleman's is every bit AS good, and maybe just a little...Well, I'll stop there.

I prefer sugar to sweet & low. There's is a difference. You can get sweet tea just about anywhere in the South. I figured Texas would be the same way.

That's awesome. We love the area. I hope I was pronouncing it correctly. I wasn't sure if it was pronounced with the "long a", or the "short a", like as in "Fah-bens". I just went off of what I had seen on other videos.

She is adorable, and I do call her by her name...Quite often. I also refer to her as "my wife", "she", etc. She is all of those things. I do not refer to her as "just she".

Unfortunately the owner of this restaurant is a nut job. I complained about a subpar steak and he told me never to come back again. 😂 That won't be hard to do.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. It is hard for us to imagine a subpar steak here, because it is still at the top of our list, of the numerous steakhouses we have eaten at. Can't wait until we can go back someday. We had nothing but friendly service, also. It's a great place!
