Best horse of this generation

I never had anyone to show me how. I had to figure it out on my own. I'll tell ya, the 1st time you get hooked onto a bull, all by yourself, it takes about a second to figure out what NOT to do. I learned to rope back legs and then tangle them up by circling the big critters. You end up with a critter going down slowly. But you need a BROKE horse to try that. One that will hold pressure while you're down tying it down. I tried it on a 3 year old gelding once. He was coming along nicely, I thought. But I dang near got me, the horse and the bull hurt. A few bumps and rope burns later found us all mostly unharmed. That gelding learned how to work a rope that day...but not how I would have prefered.

Breaking Cows with just your Rope by Roping the Cow and s=Scooping up their Legs by Looping your Rope from Behind and Riding up PAST the Cow from the Opposite Side of the Pressure from the Head. Collapsing the Hind Legs and Dropping the Cow. Grew up doing it with my Uncle on his place.
