I'm Brazilian and I've never heard of this Canchim cattle. But I saw on Google that it is a breed created in Brazil. The breeds that I have always seen great farmers breed have always been Zebu and mainly Nellore.

More than that...if we consider Kerala alone we can find more than 7 local varities...Vechur, Kasargod dwarf, Vadakara dwarf, Highrange dwarf, Attappadi cattle, Cheruvalli cattle, Anangan mala cattle, Periyar valley cattle, Vilwadri cattle etc. We are blessed with different cattle breeds.

Anatolian Black for Türkiye, local name yerlikara (native black) is the most durable cattle breed ever. as a veterinarian, i've never seen any yerlikara had any sickness, in the Eastern part of Türkiye, people releases them to nature in march after 8-9 months female yerlikaras comes back with their calf or comes back as a pregnant. hope one day i will start a research about yerlikaras' efficiency and i hope this research will end the hunger in world.

Where is Bangladesh? Bangladesh have Rad Chittagong cattle (RCC) breed, North Bengal gray cattle and Mirkadim khasa cattle etc.

O Canchim não é do Brazil 🇧🇷 tem diversas raças europeias mas o mosso forte é a criação do Gado Nelore de origem Indiana trazido por Criadores destemidos em época pretérita e criou a ABCZ e veio várias raças indianas Gir, Gir mocho, Gruzera, e outros e aqui no Brasil foi feito cruzamento do Gado Holandês com o Gir e nasceu o Girolando teve um cruzamento do Nelore com outra raça nasceu o Indubrasil, tem Tabapuã acho que é outro cruzamento também. Tem um Gado de origem europeia que veio com o descobrimento onde os Portugueses trouxeram e são criados sem melhoramentos genéticos já estão descobrindo ótima carne marmorizada nele.

Quero me retratar aqui por dizer que o Canchim não é brasileiro, mas é sim e nasceu dos cruzamentos do Gado Charoles com Nelore originando o Chanchim, por isso peço desculpas aos Criadores do Canchim por minha falta de informação, onde aqui no país existem inúmeras raças: Caracu, Jersey, Holandês, Simental, Santa Gertrudes, Senepol, Hereford e outras fora as raças Zebuinas.

To me the most common cow is the Holstein. Can't get more basic than that, maybe with the exception of the Danish Red. My favorite is probably Scottish Highland Cattle.

Fun fact:That there is no Moldova. But in Moldova, they have the AUROCHS as the cattle breed! Maybe consider the fact that it’s actually A MOLDOVAN BALTATA AND ETC. Without needing to use aurochs

From what I've read and seen, it seems that in North America and much of Western Europe, the most Popular Breed...at least for Dairy ..is the Holstein! 🐄 So cool! No 2 are alike! There was this Holstein Bobby Calf named "Calf #7" because he literally had a big white "7" on his face! 2nd place would go to the Jersey Breed!
