When needed I worked for no pay As cattle gathering was underway My horse and I enjoyed everyday To my horse it was a game to play My cattle dog had skills to display Fond memories with me do stay

Curious cowboy culture in Spain that possibly spread to America. The long rod is called "garrocha" (similar to a spear with a very small point), but it can cause injuries to the animal, and cause its death, so in America it was replaced by the lasso (although the Garrocha is still used in Colombia ) kzread.info/dash/bejne/oJ-T0JOygc_ThJM.html
They did everything all at one time. The ears, the balls, the brand. Maybe the same is great for fathers who abandon their children and families and leave them destitute.

I understand you. I love animals and I want to be a farmer. Luckily there are better ways to tag a cow and we aren't as barbaric as we used to be. No need to keep traditions that are cruel and outdated for old times sake if you're literally burning an animal alive
