    I've looked and looked for this kind of demonstration of a French classic organ, complete with several of standard combinations in the context of real French baroque music. This is really awesome, thank you!

    Wonderfully filmed and edited . The organ and church are magnificent. The music is always well played and interpreted. The manner in which all is presented here showcases the great architecture, craftsmanship and art that has been meticulously preserved by each local community; expertly played by musicians, such as yourself. I am honored for the opportunity you give me to enjoy and experience this. Thank you Balint.

    The G.O. 2' Doublette "slides into" the 4 and 8 Prestant harmonics so well. It balances really nicely and doesn't become too loud and shrill

    What is it about those pipes that gives them such magnificent timbre and resonance? (I suppose it has to do, in part, also with the space and the recording equipment?) Lovely . . . exquisite.

    Ezen most meglepődtem. 15 éve van lakhelyünk Zamárdiban, de azt se tudtam, hogy van orgonájuk, pláne, hogy ennek a helyén a háború előtt egy olyan hangszer állt, amin még Mozart játszhatott volna.

    I don't think French baroque organ music is really my thing...(and I've played some of it, out of a Du Mage collection that I ended up with). But I really like this organ and the church. I didn't realize until looking at the link that this organ is 21st century!

    Oh wow what a gorgeous organ. a feast for the ear. Beautiful stops, although I must admit i find the Cromorne a tad bit too harsh and some of the cromorne pipes have a bit of a wobbly attack/squeeky . I feel that it can do with a re-voicing. Non the less a beautiful piece of craftmanship.

  • @peteacher52
    @peteacher524 жыл бұрын

    Bravo! M Karosi, your organ demonstrations are the best on KZread in terms of interest and information. As recorded on this occasion, the instrument needs re-voicing to soften the screechy effect. What we do not know, though, is how it sounds with a normal sized congregation absorbing some of the harshness. Col, NZ
