Hi Ali! I would say depending on which cat you are doing you can get one skein of yarn per color. Some CATS like Victoria or Misto who have a lot of one color you may need more than one. But one thing of yarn per color should work well.

Hi Robert! Apologies for the delay. I just counted the plugs on one of my wigs. I would estimate it is 118 yards of yarn. Since I used two strands of 9 inch yarn to make each plug. Let me know if you have any other questions!

@@tilliboomcosplay I use snzoor makeup I wear a wig cap and paint my face blue for Jake Sully's loin cloth avatar costume and then I put on the avatar Braided avatar wig and then I put my avatar bodysuit and avatar necklace and avatar bracelet and then the Jake sully avatar loin cloth for my Jake sully loin cloth avatar costume tilli boom can you make a video of you mke a avatar costume from avatar the movie

I want to make a misto wig myself, but I dont like working with synthetics and everyone is using that synthetic yarn. Do you know if any there are any alternatives?

Hi! I haven't worked with another yarn specifically for the CATS wigs. But I have seen success in getting a tighter weave yarn brushed out. They used a wire pet brush and made sure to start fraying from the ends of the yarn first. She then used a hair straightener to help. I bet it would work similarly with natural yarn as well.

@@tilliboomcosplay Hey. I actually have another question. In terms of make up, I am not quite sure what kind of make up to use and I want it to be able to last all day fo conventions. Do you have any brands you would recommend?

Sure! Especially for cons I'd recommend theater makeup. It's a little heavier coverage, but it's made to withstand harsh lights, sweat, and long wears. my favorite brand is Ben Nye. I'm actually about to release a video that may help and will have specific product recommendations. The most important things I find are foundation (Ben Nye Cream Foundation), setting powder (Ben Nye Neutral set), and setting liquid (Ben Nye Final Seal). If you prefer street makeup I use Mac's Pro Longwear Waterproof Foundation and it's worked well at cons also.
