for those who are wondering why cucumbers scare cats, its not the cucumber scaring them! cats are naturally paranoid of their surrounds and when they eat they let their guard down because they feel safe so when an object is suddenly is there that was not before it spooks them! while it seems funny this could cause lots of problems for the cats and you, so please dont do this to your cat!

Maybe they can smell citrus, and they probably can because of a much more sensitive sense of smell than humans, but why such reaction exactly when they *see* a cucumber? Watch again each scene, and you'll see they don't get scared when smell get to their nose, but actually when cucumber comes into their visual field.

How is this cruel? cats get scared of the weirdest things. Mine can jump like an idiot if he spots one of my socks (which he knows has been behind him all the time) when he turns around... it's just reflexes and they don't really get scared, it's just automatic for them to turn into flight mode when they see something unusual. ;p
