Walang dayaang naganap sorry to say. It’s just your assumption. Kahit judge ako dun, si Puerto Rico pa din pipiliin ko manalo. Although Catriona deserved to be 1st or 2nd runner up at least. But not Miss World. When I think of Miss World, Megan Young set the standard. I did not see Cat on that level during her time. She improved a lot for Miss Universe & that’s what made her win.

I would just like to point out Catriona addressing Mt. Mayon as "she" is telling. You'll know an Albayano when they address Mayon as a person. Most people would call her "it" or "that," and sometimes, it just bothers me when people do that. Of course, visitors wouldn't know.

@@r3i2x I'm actually not even referring to how good her grammar was 😅😅 who's talking about grammar? 🤣 I meant it's telling na she comes from Albay because we refer to her, Mayon, as a person. The guardian of Albay, so to speak. I-Tagalog ko: masasabi mo talagang taga-Albay si Catriona kasi she called Mayon "her," whereas pag visitor ka or tourist or a person not from Albay would simply call her "it." Edit: as an Albayano, it's kind of weird to hear people call Mayon "it" kasi most of us really say, "ang ganda ni Mayon" "nagpakita siya (si Mayon) today" "wala si Panganoron para humarang kay Mayon." We rarely use "yun" "ang" when we talk about her (Mayon). Just saying.

She is my Miss Universe 2018 material..She is the potential one to be..

She's very humble! When the interview mentioned na magaling na si catriona sa public speaking. She told her: "There's always something to learn" and then she smiled. So humble!

When Mayon was showing attitude during Cat's BBP stint, that was probably a foreshadowing that Mayon's force would be felt in MU.

When she said she was worried, u can see the worry in her face. When Rabiya says she's sad about something, we see a smiling face and big eyes. I could forgive Rabiya's grammar errors, even Catriona has some, but the sincerity, that you cannot manufacture.

She is so articulate and eloquent. But you can readily sense her charismatic nature and kindness. And of course her bravery will always be there. When everything is said and done about Catriona, only one question remains. Who is the girl who can beat her in Miss Universe 2018? Well, all I can say is they have to hand it to her. It will be a shame not to. It will be sad to let this girl walk away without the Miss Universe crown.

What a way to demonstrate humanity. 😏 If you also understood Cat’s reply, she didn’t say she “doesn’t care about Albay.” She said they were advised not to pursue their advocacies including holding fund-raising events while competing. That’s part of the MUP guidelines. Watch the video again.

Most pageant contestants train under a Pageant Training Camp. The 2 most popular choice are ‘Aces & Queens’ and ‘Kagandahang Flores’. Catriona, is not under either one of those 2. She came independently, having her own team that she personally selected. She mentioned in one of her interviews, that most of her advisors/trainors actually did it for free!
