Yeah mine has Alan heads on it and the Allen socket won’t fit in there

Thinking about replacing stater in my 2004 sports coach because sometimes it will just click without starting and after several clicks it will eventually start. Batteries are good. Only other thing would be cables and they would cost more then the starter. Might still have to replace them

I would have the old starter rebuilt so you know what you have .. that's what we did. warn brushes can act that way.

@@ktoutdoor I second getting the OEM one REBUILT. I'm about to tackle this for someone as well. Rebuilding starters is easy. I like the DENSO. But this would be my First Automotive Diesel engine starter. Only thing is? I can't find a Rebult kit. I'm going to call nations electric and see if they have any just not listed.

I have a C9 in a Fleetwood and the last couple of days I go to start and nothing...after a few tries it starts but it's taking longer. I'm thinking its the starter.

Pretty easy to remove best to do it now and not on the side of the road.
