Its because she “isn’t a cog in the 21st century machine” 😉 because she produces real content (her art, her lyrics) her music will be timeless...i think of how we use to ask the same thing about “Florence and The Machine” when i was young...i say this because both artists have albums that can relate to me tomorrow just as powerfully as it did years past. I respect Catie Turner for this very reason!

I don’t think I can put into words how much I appreciate Catie’s artistry and talent. From singing, to songwriting, to vocals, to production, her music is some of the best music with the best longevity to come out in a while. I cannot wait to see what you will go on to do and I am so glad to have been here since the beginning.

I love the message of the song - people just want to be wanted. And one of the most painful things is feeling like you're in a one sided relationship - esp. when at one time, that relationship was beautiful and blooming, but now, the petals are turning brown and wilting. Like a garden, a relationship needs general maintenance. You can't neglect your garden and expect it to beautiful and blooming. Pay attention to the people you love. If you don't, you may not realize how much your relationship is suffering because of it.

This is amazing! Wonderful creative direction, beautiful song and stunning work from the entire team to present a new side to Catie. For all those saying they don’t know why she would be so worried about this video/song dropping...perhaps it was because it’s a new, more mature and grown up side she’s presenting. A side of her we haven’t seen much of before, in a video that’s got very strong art direction, styling and produced to a higher quality than usual. She may have been concerned that like many artists that came before, when her fans are presented with growth and change they can sometimes panic and wish for their favourite artist to stay forever the same. The beauty of Catie is that, even in her growth she is always uniquely herself, honest and full of a raw joy for life that is captivating. This video and the song both showcased her really well.
