I have suffered from palpitations, heart flutters and tachycardia for over 10 years and only recently was offered an ablation procedure. Delighted to say the treatment was given yesterday. It took just over two hours and I slept through under a full anaesthetic and already feel better although it's going to take a few days of rest and recovery before I'm expected to appreciate the full results. My thanks to the medical team at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Just had it done yesterday....spent the night in the hospital and home the next morning....so far so good...the worst part for me was the catheter for urine....Having to urinate After was extremely painful....it took about Thirty hours to be able to urinate without pain.....other than that my body is sore but a week of rest I was told and I’d be good....I didn’t want to take drugs to control the rhythm so this was a better option for me....

This video is very informative and helpful. I've had two ablations done in the last 4 months and typically within two or three days you start to feel better. At the time I am writing this, it is a Saturday and I had the second ablation on the last Wednesday and I feel almost back to normal.

+Miyana mrlaws CAFFEINE IS THE MAINSTREAM CAUSE OF TACHYCARDIA/AFIB. AN OBLATION BURNS OUT YOUR SECONDARY CIRCUIT WHICH THEY INTERPRET AS A DEFECT BUT IN TRUTH IS YOUR EMBRYONIC CIRCUIT WHICH MADE YOUR HEART TAKE IT'S FIRST BEAT IN THE WOMB. IT LATER BECOMES A BACK UP CIRCUIT. IF YOU BURN OUT THAT CIRCUIT OUT AND YOUR PRIMARY CIRCUIT GOES ON THE BLINK OR STOPS WORKING, THERE IS NO LONGER A BACKUP CIRCUIT TO TAKE OVER AND THEN YOU ARE DEAD. THIS IS ALL ABOUT MONEY WHICH HAS PERVERTED THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY. THE CURE IS PLAIN AND SIMPLE. STOP GOING INTO STARBUCKS. YOUR MEDICATION ALSO CAN BE CAUSING TACHYCARDIA/AFIB AND BLOATING DIGESTIVE ISSUES ARE ALSO A CAUSE. PRESERVATIVES AND ADDITIVES ARE ALSO A CAUSE. TIME TO CLEAN UP YOUR DIET INSTEAD OF ALTERING THE HEART WHICH IN THE LONG RUN IS DANGEROUS.

+Frank289100 I am sorry but you do not know too much about medicine. And please do not shout (all capitals) when you write. it is not polite. Do not tell me that diet can cure juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, kidney deficiency that probably have caused also this arrhythmia....I wish diet was a solution for every problem, would be heaven .

+Marina Branzoni WE ARE TALKING ABOUT AFIB/TACHYCARDIA HERE AND NOT HOW TO COOK A PERFECT POT OF SPAGHETTI. HIPPOCRATES SAID IT THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO THAT EVERYTHING WHICH MAKES THE BODY SICK COMES FROM WHAT YOU PUT IN YOUR MOUTH. CAFFEINE IS THE CAUSE OF NEARLY ALL THESE AFIB/TACHYCARDIA CONDITIONS.
