We use Chantilly whipped cream, lemon Jell-O & pineapple juice as the cream base with lime & raspberry squares for color, and we put it all in a vintage cut glass bowl! Nothing says Christmas Dinner like this Cathedral Glass parfait 😋 such a nostalgic treat

Marita, the all purpose cream comes in a can or a tetra pack and you will find it in the baking isle in a grocery store. It’s not a refrigerator produce. Hope that helps 😊

I would stay away from butter cause butter will freeze in the fridge. Oil helps the dessert to release easy from the pan.

Arundhati, I’m not sure if you get evaporated milk in India but what you can do us that 3 cups of a full fat milk and cook it on a medium heat till it reduces to 1 1/4 cup. There you have home made evaporated milk😊 Enjoy!

Margo, to make evaporated milk at home heat 3 cups of regular milk and gently boiling it down until it reduces to 1 1/4 cups. I would recommend using 2 percent or whole milk. As for the cream, I think the cream that you get in India is pretty thick so that should work. Hope I’ve been able to help 😊
