Cathedral Cave & Hodge Close Quarry // The Lake District

There are two perfect places to go for a stroll on a wet and windy day in the Lake District: Cathedral Cave and Hodge Close Quarry. On this day the forecast was for wind and rain so this location seemed to fit the bill perfectly. Turns out, the weather forecasters got it wrong.....again!
Never mind, It's never a dull moment in these places and I was also joined once again by Dina so we had some good laughs and enjoyed exploring the caves before the crowds appeared. And we managed to fit in a traditional Lakeland pub in the middle. Perfect!
All-in-all, a highly recommended day out for the family!

Great to see the videos back, I was gutted when you mentioned you might be knocking the videos on the head when we bumped into you in the Kirkstone Pass Inn. Just a technical question, on your drone shots the shadows of the clouds seem to move in a stop motion animation type way, is that because the drone takes a series of high res photos rather than actual video footage?
