Hahaha, Sydney airport is also one of the ‘worst’ airports do it the introduction. Too many people walking past, although most don’t judge and give a damn haha Thanks for watching!

What an absolute treat having a double trip report 👌 Also including 6ft4 very briefly 👍 It's always great when you fly with your Mum ❤ as you work like a well oiled machine together. The sound of the 777 engines is super fantastic 💯 The food 🍽 looked absolutely amazing and to be able to use the full bathroom for a shower 🚿 and bath 🛁 to fully freshen up in between flights ✈️ must have felt amazing 😀 I can't wait for your next trip report. Great and informative trip report JW. 6'4" definitely drove through the city, George street in fact! You look like your Mum and how lovely is it to see you travel with her... A good friend of mine used to be CX cabin crew, and yes the only have the minimum cabin crew which is legally required. He also said the salary wasn't great. The food looked good and plentiful! It sounded like you had an Aussie captain on the Osaka sector! I'm loving the music on your reports too.

Great video, Jayden. Looks like you had 2 great flights on Cathay. I was amazed at the amount of food you got, especially on the overnight flight. That’s been a complaint about CX as of late, so nice to see they are upping their game. The F lounges in SYD and HKG are always great. Nice you got to hang out in the cabana. I really need to try that someday. Happy New Year!

I very much enjoyed this journey. Such variety, so many meals and a cameo at HKG (my second favorite place). The Cathay lounge bath was a nice touch! Other bloggers would be tempted to carve this into three or more separate shows! Great job.

Your videos make me miss Cathay. They have had rough times in the past but I felt like they're slowly trying to rise. If only they didn't change their 777 economy configuration from 3-3-3 to 3-4-3....

First,I must say how much the first class cabin on the Sydney to Hong Kong flight was a lovely living room. Plenty of different styles of hukes with all the locations you were at. Lol Your mom seems a fully involved co-flyer now. 👍🏻 Thank you both.

24:40, Same when I flew China Eastern airlines last June from Ho Chi Minh to London via Shanghai on a 6 and a half hour layover and my check in bag is tagged all the way to London and it did and I am very happy.

Yep hence the super wide bed! Qantas A380 too, lower deck in 1-1-1. Emirates upper deck is 1-2-1 so significantly narrower (tho still very big)

30:24 I love how strict the boarding procedure is at HKG. The times that I have flown through there, lines for different statuses/cabins are clearly marked and delineated, and enforced. It's a shame that other airports just can't seem, or can't be bothered, to get it right.

Recently I had a terrible experience with Cathay Pacific I redeemed a Business class seat but I got downgraded to Economy bc their 777 with First class broke down and didn’t give the full refund yet but I’m glad that you got upgraded to First class😀

NOT 6’4” aka Uber As usual an interesting vlog Loved how mom demonstrated the proper use of the storage locker for u I hate buffet in a lounge as much as I hate air Canada and air. Canada lounges Still no hair cut I see C Jayden lounge in HK better than maple leaf lounge except for the broccoli no one should eat trees ! Still not happy with my seat in business being shoved in the aisle Seat should be closer to,window and storage on aisle side for more privacy Never use the water on air plane unless it is from a sealed bottle ( learned that one from flight crew ages ago )

Such an incredible experience. Shame that a few customers made a huge deal out of 2 CX flight attendants in the past, cuz Cathay service delivery overall is just amazing! Hopefully they return to #1 ranked airline again in the coming years!

Yes it’s a shame indeed. The crew were indeed in the wrong and they deserved a warning/punishment but IMO not as bad as needed to be fired or hated by a whole country

This is why i couldn't find the best cathay awards through avios.. been save 400k points for 3 years now, and there's no availability for cathay pacific to tokyo... Im so sad man 😂😂 Also.. you still forgot to drop "ONE WORLD FLYER SQUAD" on Singapore airlines video recently!! Haiiyaa

Omg yes exactly! JAL awards too💀 They switched to dynamic pricing. Would to be able to do HKG-TYO 17000 miles return. Now I see lots of 30-50k ONE WAY in economy

The CX first class seats, while still good and comfortable, is getting a bit dated compared to some of the competiing airline offers. Other airlines offer private suites and with screen or doors to give you extra privacy. CX needs to update and refurbish their first class offerings if they want to remain a premium service airline.

But I don’t know if Hong Kong airlines Or UO Hong Kong express to change these airlines except Cathay Pacific Airline But the next day CX100 Taking off the next day so if you know, please tell me thanks !!🙏

many years ago on CX economy HKG-SIN. I scored an exit row aisle seat online foc. When seated, a cabin crew approached me to ask me how I got this seat and to move to a different row as my seat is "faulty". I told her, I am fine with this faulty seat and remained. The flight took off and again, she asked me to move in a matronly manner. This time I could notice that the other cabin crews were apologising to a very tall caucasian pax that I refuse to move. The seat was working fine. The seat buckle worked. The meal table didn't fall apart on me. The TV monitor worked. Nothing wrong with it. Now... if the cabin crew had told me honestly that there was a mistake with the booking system and they need my seat for a frequent flyer pax. I would have moved. BTW, the two seats beside me were empty throughout the flight.

very odd they did that, especially when there were spare seats next to you. When I flew them in 2019, also HKG-SIN, there was an actual faulty seat (seat in front kept reclining on me) They made me move, then offered me and my companions USD50 each for separating us. Not on what they did to you
