I remember going to Orlando for the first time in my life flying with air 2000 before it became first choice in 1998

So awesome to see all thoose aircrafts back in 1993!

This was when planes were planes and spotting as a kid was so much fun

Great vid. Really enjoyed watching it. Reminds me of being a young teenager. Used to beg my parents to take me to MAN to do some spotting. Particularly enjoyed seeing the Air2000 757. Flew on OOOH to Orlando via Bangor in 1989. Happy memories.

Great video - really loved seeing the Cathay 747. Flew on a few in that livery :) Also good catch of the Qantas 747 with the Olympic logo by the cockpit windows. Was that a 'tag-on' flight from Heathrow or did they fly to Manchester directly from an Asian hub?

Qantas was MAN-LHR-Singapore-Sydney Cathay was via Brussels or Zurich and Direct to Hong Kong Kai Tak.

I've always loved going plane-spotting at Manchester Airport. It isn't as good now- half the airlines here either don't exist any more or don't use Manchester. But it's still good, especially the 747s- which are getting rare now. Was it unusual for Qantas to use Manchester? I don't remember ever seeing one there.

omg! hardly any of those airlines go Manchester anymore, thought Qantas would of taken A380's from Manchester now, cathay only do cargo flights now!
