Everyone who knows a catfisherman needs to watch this video. Timeless piece about catfish fever.

I wonder how many of these people are still working for In-Fisherman? I still have the original VHS tape for this one.

Doug Stange is for sure, he's the editor in chief. Otis "Toad" Smith passed away November 4, 1991. Steve Quinn was the senior editor, and I think he retired back in 2018.

This sure brings back good memories! I use to love watching Doug and Toad every weekend 30 plus years ago. The cat fishing shows were my favorite

This is still my favorite catfishing video. I remember the day my best friend brought a vhs tape when he had recorded the part where Doug and Toad were beginning to set baits for a night of flatheads. After all these years, and thousands of cats later, I still watch this show over and over. I still quote it when talking about or teaching others to catch cats as well.

The dynamic duo!!! This brings back so many great memories!!!

Too many distractions nowadays with so much technology. Back then, it was simple.

thats what i fish for more then the others, thanks for the long upload that i can watch when needed and look at how far catfishing has came.

I simply love fishing for catfish... giant 200 pound wels catfish that is!

This deservesbwaly more attention. This dvd from walmart made me fall in love with catfish at age 10.

I remember watching these in the 80's and early 90's as a kid..always loved catfishing above all others and crappie is all my dad really fished for so those outings for cats were rare

I've watched this so many times over the years i remember it all by heart. The techniques the methods. I've applied them in many places in virginia but never had half the luck they did. Va just sucks in my area. Bad.

Maybe you all should try conservation efforts, your catching numbers of channels an releasing them and you keep the only flathead you catch! Oh an not removing a hook when it can be simply removed with some pliers!

I was thinking the same because I've seen someone land a 98 lbs flathead right in front of me. Maybe people just dont register their catches? But I've seen several flathead within that range, even though my own PB is only at 63lbs

This is great!! I had this on vhs, infisherman magazine really shaped my life in a big way growing up near Kanawha Falls in WV in the 90s!!! I took it to school with me even , I tried new tactics every month i got a new edition from the Krogers mag rack in Gauley Bridge
